Nope - Roth replaced Michael when he left, so they weren't in the band at the same time. That's Buchholz (bassist) next to Roth.

Yeah, forgot about that - Michael Schenker left earlier to join UFO - '73 or so. I wasn't interested in Scorpions much, but I had a few UFO records back in the '70s. By the late '70s I had pretty much lost interest in that genre.

I'm curious here. I don't mean any disrespect here but...are there Americans who seriously like Scorpions? I only heard 1 or 2 of their songs on the FM and I couldn't change the station fast enough. That goofy group photo lowered my estimation of them down to the equivalent of the The Bay City Rollers.

Yeah, that's Uli Jon Roth on the far right (the creative mind behind my favourite Scorpions' song from the only of their albums that I really like) and he was only with them from 1973-78.

not sure but kinda frightening seeing GeneP59 in hot pants and platforms.
As a teenager I owned a pair of black boots with platform soles just like that
and when I was tired of them I remember being a little surprised at how hard
it was to sell them. I think I gave them away in the end. I had to make special pants
to go with them was the biggest problem. Plus they hurt my feet. Not to mention
how ridiculous I must have looked. As long as I can remember I've had an obsession
with my legs being really short and I thought those boots would give me nice long legs.
I was starting to Google whether Edgar and Johnny Winter ever played in a band together then I realized it was Gregg and Duane. So, ABB but I don't know enough to know who the other guys are. Or which is who of the clean-cut young fellas with guitars.

I have no idea who these guys are, but they would probably fit in with today's hipsters if they had some sort of Neo-Folk act, especially the bearded fellows.
OMG how did I miss this? This is the most magnficent photo I have ever seen.
