The continuing health saga... first the good news. My tummy and new knee are doing great. Thanks for the prayers and karma.
Bad news - hub continues to mystify with no 'real' diagnosis of why he was in hospital and rehab for 5 weeks. However, he has neurosurgery on Monday to put hardware in his neck in hopes it straightens/strengthens spine and spinal column flow ( at least I think that's what Doogie Howser said).
We were waiting for pre-op appointment today and met couple who had traveled from Indiana to Tampa for the same surgery with this specific doctor. He was here for post-op and was feeling great. Made us feel much better that patients traveled so far (at their doctor's recommendations) and Doogie Howser is in our own backyard. (Real name, Dr. Erik Hayman)
If you are so inclined, pray for Dr. Hayman and hub. Karma is most appreciated.

Tooth extraction, while certainly not the most fun I've had in my life, is done. Home now.
Unpleasant but not for long. Avoid aspirin etc that thins the blood and I thought a water pik on the very very lowest setting with a bit of listerine in the mix helped irrigate and get rid of the icks in there. After the gauze phase is over.
Tomorrow morning I have to have a tooth extracted due to an abscess (luckily ? it had a root canal a couple years ago so it's not painful). I'm anxious about it, and will welcome any and all good thoughts, vibes etc. Thanks.

The is a very belated, but sincere, thanks for all the prayers and karma since my little December incident. Since then I had a knee replacement and hub was in hospital for 5 weeks (diagnosis still unknown). Oy Vey. We are both speeding to recovery and are grateful for all the prayers.

Dang, your retirement has not been very peaceful at all. Hope your mister is feeling better and both of you continue to improve.
