A little bummed to see that Ron also picked the Hawks, but after the game tonight, I'll take the home town cheer and hope to sniff out another point or two this week.
Stafford is also playing for MVP, does benching him for post season rest impact that? I guess that's a coaching/ownership call, but it might wind up as a morale thing too. Lots of this game is momentum, if they play him and he loses a 3rd straight it might get under his skin.
Yeah, I guess sitting him would affect his MVP chances, plus, as you said, momentum is important, so it would be good for him to get an "easy" win after two straight losses.
The game is essentially meaningless for the Rams; Stafford may not even play the whole game, but still, the Cardinals are awful. It's a similar scenario for the Packers. They are in the playoffs but can't win their division, and they may rest Love after the first half. Josh Allen may not play at all, but they are playing the Jets, so it doesn't matter.
Yeah, these are the games I hate because you never know who is playing and for how long...Makes it tough.

Picking Arizona at this point would be like picking the Jets, a HARD NO!
Looking forward to the battle royale for 1st place this weekend. Hope there is a clear winner, no ties (do we have a tie breaker?)
I think there is a tie breaker or at least a 2nd first place in the pick 'em. It's based somehow on overall percentage and maybe how bad your mulligan week is. I think we hit this one year.
Congrats to the Miser.
For next week I've got a couple of oddballs in my model. Not sure if that's enough to overcome a one game deficit. I may have to look for a hail mary somewhere. It would be sweet to see Arizona upset LA, but that's a LOOONNNNG odds play. How rattled is stafford? How much is Murray thinking about his golf game?

The only guarantee this year is that regardless of the opponent, the location, the line, and the injury report.... I will pick the wrong side of the Falcons game.

True
I had them @ 8-9 after rolling it back from 9-8 before the first game.
I think you meant parity, but I like your version better. Now I'll have to search out the upsets this week and hope for the best. Well done.

The winner this week, with a record of 11 and 5, is the one and only ColdMiser! Outstanding picking, sir, especially being the only one to pick the Vikings. Great job!

Like the saying goes...Even a Blind Squirrel finds a nut every now and then. Nice to make at least 1 trip to the Winners Circle this year. My head coach was on the Hot Seat.
