We made the parts for those at the Motorola plant I worked at. They use an OS called NeXTSTEP. The company only lasted a couple of years after not getting much of a foot hold in the market. Motorola probably ended up with most of them. I remember lots of them going to salvage auctions we had.
Industry standards develop on money. Often enough they don't go where brains are, sadly. Just like owning doesn't require any IQ.

I hear your concern, Jeff. Letâs unpack this clearly and practically:
ð What Copilot Vision Actually Does
Copilot Vision is a feature that lets me use your deviceâs camera to âseeâ whatâs in front of you â for example, scanning a document, identifying an object, or helping with a workflow.
It does not automatically spy on your activity. It only works when you explicitly grant permission.
On Windows, iOS, or Android, you can toggle camera and microphone permissions in the appâs settings. Without that permission, Vision is completely inactive.
ð¡ï¸ Privacy & Permissions
Youâre always in control: Vision requires opt-in consent.
Permissions can be revoked at any time in your deviceâs privacy settings.
Awareness means Copilot can interpret whatâs in front of the camera when you allow it.
Surveillance would imply ongoing monitoring without consent â which Copilot Vision does not do.
Think of it like giving an app access to your camera for a video call: it can âseeâ only when you allow it, and you can shut it off instantly.
Would you like me to break down step-by-step how to check or disable Vision permissions on Windows and mobile, so you can be sure itâs only active when you want it?

Anyone using DeleteMe? Experiences/opinions, please. Thx.
Iâve heard their ads on podcasts but never used them. Iâve used Google to remove any of my info online with some good results. I had multiple sites remove my info.
