It turns out this was a CarPlay issue with IOS 18. I went to some of the Apple Support treads & found similar complaints with some suggested fixes. I think the one that worked for me was deleting any extraneous VPN apps and/or connections from my iPhone 12, but I tried a couple other things. The RP app is working fine again.
CarPlay is messed up for my iPhone 12. None of the channels are playing music, but the channel identifier announcement does play â¦. then no music again.
I tried deleting & reloading the app, didnât fix it.
I tried listing without CarPlay via Media (ATT network). That worked for one song but then it started having the same issue. Channel announcements but no music. Is a puzzlement.
Meanwhile, Apple Music via CarPlay works just fine.

I'm experiencing the exact same issue with the Android app on a Google Pixel 9. I deleted and re-installed the RP app, but that didn't help. This is independent from Android Auto - it happens even when my phone is running on its own.
Update: One day later and it seems to be working now.

I am having what seems like the same issue. I get visuals (music artwork and lyrics) but no music on main/mellow/rock, but serenity and RP2025 work. The app works fine on wifi. it is only on cellular data that the problem happens. when using cellular the channels don't give any music, the thanks for listening to RP bits do play when i refresh the app, then just spinning progress star after. I have deleted app and reinstalled however nothing changed. I am using iOS 18.1.1, RP app 8.3.0. this started about 3-4 days ago. Update: I logged into the app and then it no longer worked on wifi. the website works using the phone and on my PC (firefox).
