As a new owner of a polestar I installed the RP app instantly... ;-)
But the app is very restricted regarding stream quality, cache etc.

I can't find any way to choose stream quality or let the app cache some songs.
Don't know if it's a problem with the app (programming) or Googles Android Auto preferences...
Any clues?

I frequently use the RP app in my car, Google automotive (Polestar 2). The last couple of weeks, it stopped working. Always get the message "RP app is not working right now"

I've been trying the RP app in my car which uses Android Automotive - most importantly it works, so that's very much appreciated! I can see that there's approx 1h30m of cached/offline music, but I can't find any options in the app to change quality/cache size/WiFi options etc? Does the cache simply top itself up when the vehicle has a WiFi connection?

Just upgraded my phone and RP stopped showing up in Android Auto and I can't seem to add it back in the Android Auto customization screen.    Anyone else seeing this?

I am a happy user of the Android player. It runs with Android Auto, and that has been great for me the last couple of years.

Now Android Automotive OS is slowly becoming a thing in some cars. Android Automotive OS is an operating system that is installede in the car, while Android Auto runs from your smartphone and is displayed in the car's infotainment system.

I do not believe that the Radio Paradise Android player works with Android Automotive. I would be great if it did. 
... Says someone who has orderede a Renault Megane e-tech electric that comes with Android Automotive.  I won't be getting the car till sometime 2023, so plenty of time to get it done
