I may have deleted one or another one of my posts on this forum before (and archive.org can't catch them.)
Human. No AI character, or bot as accused of, for being here by (self-declared) party officials.
was the info deleted? or just removed from the website?
can they legally delete this stuff from the face of the earth? (maybe wayback has it)
i'm not sure but i think this applies specifically to the public web pages hosting the press releases, not the actual court filings or prosecution databases.
"Removed" or "deleted" from the DOJ website are the same thing - but no, not deleted from everywhere. Most (if not all) of the press releases are available on the Wayback machine and other public sites (some links in the article) which had downloaded that info, but the DOJ's intent of removing/deleting them from their official site is clear. It wouldn't surprise me if they attempt to have the info removed from public web pages. That's clearly unconstitutional, but this administration seems to have little regard for the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
Trump DOJ mass-deletes info on Jan. 6 riot cases, including violent assaults on cops
The Trump administration has mass-deleted information about prosecutions tied to the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol, including cases of defendants who assaulted police officers. The removals mark the latest phase of President Trump's effort to rewrite the history of the violent riot.

âShe got transferred to a minimum security prison⦠Itâs against BOP policy because she's a convicted sex offender.â
They seriously screwed the pooch on this. The charge should be manslaughter or something similar. They need to throw at least one police(wo)man under the bus on this one, or the fallout is gonna be so incredibly bad.
It's not the proper charge due to politics (because it doesn't seem like a technical legal reason), and politics is about the interplay between different people or groups, and this is gonna make this SO much worse.
