I say that in a lot of ways Australia is 15 years behind the US. We are getting hit pretty hard with meth, now. Yeah, I'm worried about the future, especially for the rural areas.

500 in DDS is categorized as Science, however more specifically, 501 is Philosophy and Theory. I wouldn't object to bible-type stuff under Philosophy, but DDS has already addressed this and The Bible has its own subcategory (220) under Religion. However, 700 (or any subsection thereunder) for Darwin is flat wrong - Genetics and Evolution has its own subcategory (576). So, in answer to your question: apparently cataloging librarians in some libraries in Derplahoma (I'm trying to be generous and not presume that they're all idiots) are completely unqualified to do their jobs correctly. *grumblegrumble - andhowisitIcouldn'tfindemploymentasalibrarian - grumblegrumble*

BillnDollarBaby wrote:I was so excited. Last night, I got the pleasant, cheery librarian when I was returning my books and paying my fine on the movie I borrowed. Then I got some more books. Then I got the nasty, cranky one again. This is three times in four stops at the front counter. She's so rude, I'm actually considering complaining about her. I want to go to your library, because you will be a nice librarian.
And you will be more than welcome!
