When driving across the western US, I tried to listen to the hispanic radio stations. The music wasn't any better, but at least I didn't understand the lyrics.

That is somehow a good sign, these days. So far, these are all different restaurants. The art of food photography is LOST.

Mostly I'm mocking the rank photography. This one *almost* got it right. A couple of abused chunks of asparagus, and some stray gravy. Lighting is better. Composition needs work. But it at least makes me think "I want to eat that now." I wonder when "garnish" fell out of favor. I know they probably do actually smother everything in gravy, but a little less for the photo would show off the actual food. How about a wine pairing. Nope. Just a bare bones plate of food. AND YOU'LL LIKE IT.

Food shows just can't help but lard up the food. Of course it's delicious but you never see them finish the monstrosities.
