Add simply outstanding Norwegian socio-economic outcomes and high rates of social mobility that the USA is unlikely to ever accomplish.
Thankfully the US state is focused on the priority of ethnic cleansing occupied Palestine and protecting the Zionist Israeli apartheid system which clearly means a lot to supporters of the Democratic Party.
ps, Mark Cuban, who launched a cost plus pharmacy business, is doing a great job calling out the issues with US healthcare. You can follow his updates on linkedin
This isn't a problem caused by the expiration of the extended subsidies, it's a problem of priorities, greed, and inaction.
Someone is going to have to try and run on fixing healthcare, and have a reasonable plan in place during the primaries. It's killing our ability to compete and innovate.
The first example is staggering...

$17.6k potential out of pocket after spending $120 per day for health insurance? WTF?!?
In the largest Medicare Advantage fraud settlement to date, Kaiser Permanente has agreed to pay $556 million to settle Justice Department allegations that it billed the government for medical conditions patients didnât have.
The settlement, announced Jan. 14, resolves whistleblower lawsuits that accused the giant health insurer of mounting a years-long scheme in which it overstated how sick patients were to illegally boost revenues. (...)
218 members signed the discharge petition to force a vote to extend ACA tax credits.
If Speaker Johnson refuses to bring forth the vote, heâs telling the American people loud and clear that rising health care costs are acceptable to him.
When your health care costs skyrocket after the first of the year it is due to Trump and his spineless lackey Johnson. There is no one else to blame. Vote accordingly. YOU HAVE BEEN SCREWED by the Republicans.
yup. The Rethuclican mission is to destroy the ACA.

No, and a society that only provides healthcare to a select group and then forces all others to die early or use the most expensive form of healthcare which will then be paid for by that select groupâisn't a functional society. Because we all know that facing those choices: Let Them Die vs Pay for Their Emergency Care, the select group will choose Die 100% of the time. And that's what they're fighting for.
Yet another reason that Americans need to spend some more time abroad. EVERY OTHER developed nation (and a good portion of the developing ones) have already fixed this issue.
Speaker Mike Johnson said he would not allow the House to vote on a measure to extend Affordable Care Act subsidies that are set to expire at the end of the month, ensuring that millions of Americans who rely on them to help pay for plans will face higher costs. â
Good luck, everyone. Hopefully the upcoming Trump-sponsored deaths will be quick and painless.
Remember, he promised to replace the ACA with something better - and has done jack shit about it, despite a Republican House & Senate.
Because he's a liar and a loser.
As a result of electing all these morons, your friends and family won't be able to get the healthcare they used to have.
Here comes the Trump Morbidity and Mortality Waveâ¢
Wasn't the promise of a vote the only thing the dems got in exchange for re-opening the government?
it doesnât make any sense to me that healthcare coverage is contingent on having a job.

You dont need a job - medicare/medicaid.
For those on the ACA marketplace... lower income people, the subsidy issue will have less of an impact to their access/cost...while millions above the poverty threshold would completely lose eligibility.
Consistent with current trends, the middle class bears the greatest burden of the shortcomings in the U.S. healthcare system...paying through the nose for premiums during their working lives, and risking whatever savings/home they were able to accrue during retirement...God forbid they get sick, injured or can't care for themselves.
