It's been so long I spun a KC album (wax or CD) that this is like all new to me. I really liked this one. A keeper.
I have a CD boxset close by (The Great Deceiver). Gonna have to spin those in the near future.
Got that one too, since it was less overwhelming. It got included in a later giant boxset, but I still have my original CDs. As Fripp said of Bruford and Wetton: "âamazing, busy, exciting, mobile, agile, inventive and terrible to play overâ
I don't splurge much on physical music, since I figure my son is just gonna inherit/sell it anyway. but I had to have The Road to Red.

I ended up giving my copy away. It had a small crack off the edge but it only ran across the first track. And when I played it I never heard any clicking sound. But wasn't gonna try to sell it that way.
Just finished cranking my vinyl copy, and playing my electronic drums a bit too...no, exactly the right amount of loud.

Crazy how young he looks here. I saw him live just a few years back and he looked older than dirt. He hobbled out all bent over with a walking stick and sat on a stool all night. Still had the vocals and the licks though. I have a good handful of his vinyl, but not this one. A great human being.
A good friend met him a few years ago, and started by saying how much Circles in the Stream meant to him. Cockburn cut him off with a gruff, "I'm not that guy any more."
A "don't meet your heroes" moment, I suppose.
Courtesy of the Kurtster from my visit with him this past autumn. Cool band from the 70's, The Hello People. Frequently played with Todd Rundgren back in the day.

Absolutely. I knew nothing of him until I pulled that one out of my pile of used albums bought many years ago to give it a spin a few years back and was really impressed at how good it was. So when I pulled his second album out I thought I'd be in for a treat....not.
Gonna have to spin that first one again to remember...
After seeing Sir Paul pop up in another thread or two here, i just had to play his fave album of mine. Three LP boxset. Released on 2 LPS, plus a bonus LP of stripped down Home Recordings of the album.
