Welcome to your life, it's a big defeat
The angels at your door found you on your knees
Find me under wilted trees
I've fallen on hard times come and lay with me
I've fallen on hard times can you lay with me?

Welcome to your life, it's a big deceit
The lovers at your call found you incomplete
If you wonder about me
Let me tell you so do I come and lay with me
I've fallen on hard times come and lay with me

What kind of person am I?
I don't know, I don't know
And what kind of lesson is lifе?
I don't know, I don't know

Welcome to your life, it's a big disеase
This is how we live, dealing with conceit
Help me under open seas
I've fallen on hard times can you lay with me?
I've fallen on hard times can you lay with me?

What kind of person am I?
I don't know, I don't know
And what kind of lesson is life?
I don't know, I don't know
Oh, when does it feel alright
I don't know, I don't know
And how do I pass the time?
I don't know, I don't know

Thought it was going to be a Tears for Fears cover after the opening 4 words...

Feels like it is just barely restraining itself from becoming a Tears for Fears cover at the start of each verse.

I agree with you there. This one is flirting dangerously with a copyright violation.
…O Don’t mess w the book of Judith!
love this track and the album art. A cool 80’s pop feel but then a 100% entirely her own thing going. Huzzah for new stuff! “-D
Yas! New music!

what is up with the album cover?
Thought I was hearing Sharon Van Etten.  The overdriven, heavy clipping of the vocals got to be a bit grating after awhile but I'll give it a second listen.
Interesting and different!

Interesting enough for an initial 8.  Plus, I like the cover art.
