You and me bound to spend some time wond'rin' what to choose
Goes to show, you don't ever know
Watch each card you play and play it slow
Wait until that deal come round
Don't you let that deal go down, no, no
I been gamblin' hereabouts for ten good solid years
If I told you all that went down it would burn off both of your ears
Goes to show you don't ever know
Watch each card you play and play it slow
Wait until that deal come round
Don't you let that deal go down, no, no
Since you poured the wine for me and tightened up my shoes
I hate to leave you sittin' there, composin' lonesome blues
Goes to show you don't ever know
Watch each card you play and play it slow
Wait until that deal come round, don't you let that deal go down
Wait until that deal come round, don't you let that deal go down
Wait until that deal come round, don't you let that deal go down
Don't you let that deal go down, don't you let that deal go down
I'll need medication...again.
...Learning how to do what she's doing here takes just as much dedication, practice, and creativity as learning to play the guitar.
Um, no.
Sorry to counter, but pressing buttons and whatnot is not the same as learning all the scales and their modes and how to >physically< employ them. The touch on how you put pressure on a string and strum it to make it sound a certain way. How to play fast, etc.
Don't get me wrong, I understand there are technical >and creative< aspects to electronic music, but to say that it takes as much practice and dedication as playing a guitar at a masters level is a stretch.
Agreed, sure. But even as a remix, electronic, etc. enjoyer... I just don't like this track that much.
LMAo... really Loving this version! 9>10

Feel like that's a bit too much, I'd prefer to hear the original
This is not only dreadful, but also awful, sucky, shameful, ghastly, painful to the ears, and...befuddling.
And who wants to befuddled?

There's a link to the entire Garcia album remix on Spotify in there somewhere.
Now do I let RP off the hook for playing this? Welllllll...hmm, maybe. Okaaay.
And Jerry is turning . . .
WTF is this?
Man, I thought the same when I first heard this. But wow, I find myself dancing and jammin' in my chair at work. I really appreciate the DJ's deadication on this tune. The more and more I hear it, the more I love it. A big high-five to Giobbi, who also is a deadhead.
WTF is this?
Tracks from Deadicated, fine. Emory Joseph, fine. This? Nope.
The track has had its run. It's just a clever gimmick. Time to give it up.
If I had a time machine I'd go back in time to stop this being made before I killed Hitler.
I actually like this remix, but your comment is super funny!
For repentance, thou must listen to 5/8/77 Scarlet-->Fire in its entirety.
Then, say 3 "Hail Jerry's."
Also +1 on the idea that RP is great to introduce us all to new things...once.
This has been pretty heavy in the rotation and enough!
The thing I find most irksome, tbh, is the credit to 'Jerry Garcia'. Sure, but it's not Jerry. It's somebody else.
Horrible adulteration.
sorry, that'd be a no from me
me too as much as i like jerry
Is RP just being a provocateur? There ain't no reason for that,
C'mon. Is Disco Duck next?
Alongside the announcement of Garcia (50th Anniversary Edition), we are looking forward to inviting artists to collaborate with the existing material… in the form of Garcia (Remixed).
Garcia (Remixed) is a genre-defying dance potion crafted by LP Giobbi, a forward-thinking, boundary-breaking artist disrupting dance music today. A Deadhead herself, this isn’t her first drop of Garcia’s inspiration...
Umm, uhh, what was THAT?!? William likes it? Garcias' estate approved it? Man, I dunno...this can't be good.
Hard to ignore. I can't say I like it, but it has its merits.
Seemingly more proof that just because something can be done... it doesn't mean it should. Sure, it's tight. Sure, it's polished. And boy, yes, it's even got a lot of deep bass. But so what? My suggestion to remix djs is to write their own damn music and cut the copy-n-paste paint by numbers kindergarten crap and make real art.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, of course, and we're always interesting in hearing them.
However, that bit about copy/paste & paint-by-numbers & 'not real art' -- well, that's the sort of thing that only someone totally ignorant about how electronic music is made would say. Learning how to do what she's doing here takes just as much dedication, practice, and creativity as learning to play the guitar.

I don't know, man. Not exactly the same, but I certainly enjoyed PBS's auto-tune remixes of Mr Rodgers, Bob Ross, and Julia Child. Plus, if Bill didn't play that remix then we wouldn't have this awesome segue to Franklin's Tower... Gotta crack some eggs to make an omelet.
My lowest rating for a song ever (1)
I firmly believe that Jerry is rolling over in his grave hearing this.
WTF is this?
I'd call it an 8!
Thanks for this discover.
A remix that is totally different than anything I've ever heard from Jerry Garcia or the Dead, and therefore I really appreciate that RP is introducing me to this.
On the other hand, I don't like it very much, so I'll rate it a 5.
Just like how piano players only push buttons and don't have to learn any music theory.
