Last request
Pull the car over
To find some rest
Saying "I love you"
Need to lie here
Need to leave
Living in the debt of make believe
Saying I owe you
Crooked as a crow gnawing on dawn
Shadow from the grass in the dirt on the lawn
Why do I string you along?
My certainty is wild, weaving
For you I am a child, believing
You lay beside me sleeping on a plane
In the future
Sit on the phone
Watch TV
Romance, action, mystery
Wanted to show you
Sine wave is a particle ride
Bring your light out then in on the tide
Maybe I love you
Maybe I love you is a river so high
Maybe I love you is a river so low
I love you, still don't know
My certainty is wild, weaving
For you I am a child, believing
You lay beside me sleeping on a plane
In the future

Peachy and her voice is great.
Maybe because this came up in the rotation right after Patsy Cline, but this just sounds weak. Off -key singing, sloppy harmonies, pedestrian playing. Doesn't really do anything for me. Sorry.
Big Thief is one of the best bands of the past 10 years
i like this outfit. there's another song i like a whole lot better than this (can't think of the title) but they certainly have a distinctive vocal, right? normally this kind of thing is not something i'd enjoy, but i really like this. however, i can see why it grates on the nerves of others.
OH! the song i first heard was "Not" and loved it. go figure!

It's rare that I wanna SKIP AHEAD to the next tune 'round here, but this woman's voice makes me run away.... fast. Big Thief is not for me!
Not for my ears. 3.
One of the many great new sounds being brought to us by Bill (William?) Alanna and the team. More please.
something comfortable about this one - like a worn leather glove that knows the curve of your thumb and forefinger…
Odd and warbly in a nice way. Reminded me of that old recording of Blind Willie Johnson and some nice lady singing "Soul of a Man". Nice song.
Like the guys said, this is so familiar. Can't figure out what song it is.
But it's so lovely
But it's so lovely
These guys confuse me, I am fifty and I thought what Music was…is 9.9 a number?
hallo,im Andrea from italia...i will be happy if somebody will write with me
I think I'd quite enjoy spending an evening in a crowded little club, enjoying a few barley pops and listening to these folks play some pretty fine ass music...
a great "love" song lyrical and not sweet
Not this one for me, I've liked other tracks from them, however.
Only recently discovered them - I'm liking much, thanks - my fave track from latest album is Simulation Swarm, for now 👍

Created an account just to 'like' this. Best song on the album, without a doubt.

has a familiar feel to it even though it is brand new
