What you holding on to?
Just let it all go.
What’s making you small now?
Just let it go.
What you got to do yeah?
Just let it all go.
What you holding back now?
Just let it all go.
Just let it all go.
What’s making you small now?
Just let it go.

Just let it all go.

This is why you can't give Elsa a balloon.. She'll just let it go.

Agree! When I first heard this, I was thinking that it reeks of N'Awlins (esp. after William played some Galactic earlier). And I mean "reek" in the best way, like catching a whiff of some kind bud floating around on a beautiful day. Seeing that the PH Jazz Band was involved made a lot of sense after I checked it out.
I'm all in for anything that involves the Preservation Hall Jazz Band!!!

It seems the three instances of "Frakes" in the group's biography above are typos of "Jakes"

Definitely PHJB makes this tune work for me.
This is more PHJB than BA.

This song reminds me a lot of the lead vocals, simple lyrics, and infectious rhythm of Smoove and Turrell, like in "Let Yourself Go" or "Lay it On Me." Anyone else hearing that?

NOLA to see Preservation Hall Jazz Band? Hate NOLA myself, and I hear it is far worse now than 2004 when I left the area, but there be Excellant music, and food to be had in the area. (head to the swamps for fun, too)
So you had the same experience I had when I left in '98?

Wow, that kind of gently hits you in the face! What energy!
kind of sounds like sonia dada from Chicago and sometimes heard on this very streaming music channel.
Never heard this band until RP
Sound familiar?
But the 3 tunes I’ve heard here are all so different that it doesn’t sound like the same group
Not a big fan of their cover of New Speedway Boogie (as a Deadhead) but I like this tune with the venerable horn section which are legend on their own
Thanks again

good times when BillG adds some new tracks and sets to the 'main mix' - it's also nice hearing something from 2015 as if it was brand new.
I like this one a lot for a first listening, calling it an 8 for now, and the brass and reeds have a lot to do with it.
Long Live RP!!
If you've never been to PH, you don't know what you're missing!!
