When I get to the bottom
I go back to the top of the slide
Where I stop and I turn
And I go for a ride
'Til I get to the bottom and I see you again
Yeah, yeah, yeah, heh-heh-heh

Well do you, don't you want me to love you?
(Ah) I'm coming down fast, but I'm miles above you
(Ah) Tell me, tell me, tell me
Come, on tell me the answer
Well, you may be a lover
But you ain't no dancer
(Da da da da da da da)

Now, helter skelter
Helter skelter
Helter skelter
Yeah

Whoo, hoo

A-will you, won't you want me to make you? (ah)
I'm coming down fast, but don't let me break you (ah)
Tell me, tell me, tell me the answer
You may be a lover but you ain't no dancer
(Da da da da da da da) look out

Helter skelter
Helter skelter
Helter skelter

Whoo

Look out
'Cause here she comes, heh-heh
(Ah, ah)
(Ah, ah)

When I get to the bottom

And I stop and I turn
And I go for a ride

(Da da da da da da da) look out

Helter skelter
Helter skelter
Helter skelter

Well, look out, helter skelter
She's coming down fast
(Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)
Yes, she is
(Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)
(Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)
Yes, she is
Coming down fast
Oh yeah helter skelter
Whoo
(Okay)

(Listen, shall we hear that, see if the E's on?)
(Hey, come here, son. I saw you do that, you little bugger! Pop your bloddy hands on here, come on.)

How's that?
I got blisters on my fingers!

The Beatles invented heavy metal and scream-o. I said what I said.
This was revolution at that time, but enough for waking up Mr. Heath.
One of the better Beatles songs…

Just from listening 😮

Just listen 'till the very end of the song...
Man, when they wanted to be HEAVY, they sure were, weren't they? And, damn, they could rock on out with the best of 'em.  Crazy good, with sinister bass, yeah!
A real slice of nice  :-)  Ser Paul came through on this one.
What a great track...

I remember hearing this album for the first time in my oldest cousin's room about a year after it came out.  We talked about the rumors that this album had secret messages if you played it backwards (he wouldn't try it for fear of scratching the precious vinyl).  It was also the album that , according to him, supposedly made Charles Manson crazy...

The secret messages are in Revolution #9 -- John being very mischievous while tinkering in the studio.... You hear a car crash, the phrase "I buried Paul" --= mourners chanting and the phrase "turn me on dead man" over and over again. I played it backwards for hours -- did not ruin the vinyl and did not make me insane.... ok maybe a little insane but it was worth it :D
Genius...Madness

And to think that when I was growing up, U2's version on Rattle & Hum was the first version of this song I'd ever heard.

Great tune! I bought this album when it came out! I was 13. I played it so much, I had to buy a new copy 3 months later!

Same generation and the same experience! Each album cover copy was numbered with a different number and a beautiful poster printed lyrics with lots of pics - the best one with John's head emerging from the bath water. Of course 10 for the song and the album.
that bass is so heavy
Launched a whole new sub-genre of rock.

I always turn this one up.

Too much Beatles going to hit the next button
Here's another gem about Radio Paradise and the management's interest in the audience.
Straight from Wikipedia, today, 7:43 p.m., August 9, 2019. This Beatles track's notorious link with

https://allthatsinteresting.com/manson-murders

The Tate murders were a mass murder, conducted by members of the Manson Family on August 8–9, 1969, of five adults and Sharon Tate’s unborn baby.

This is a pretty cool good song which many have said was the first real heavy metal/punk rock song!
Dang, is there anything those lads didn't invent?

Great thumping bass coupled with George's terrific run-ups.

It took me a long time to disassociate this from (one-time Beach Boys' friend) Charlie Manson, however. Vince Bugliosi's book about the Tate/LaBianca murders was truly fascinating, however.

Yeah, good of the Beatles to steal it back.

I usually do not care for the Beatles, but this one is quite excellent.
Hard to believe this gem hasn't been played that much.

Have you noticed this song is only played once a year?
