Lay down your secrets
I wanna get to know you
In the air that you're breathing
I wanna get to know you

On the street signs and sun arise
I wanna get to know you
Or I'll forget the feeling
Before it's here and over, over

I'll be the left side if you'll be the right
I'll let the eyes fall into the night
Hold out the ocean over your hands
Hope that the answer goes with the ask
I'll be the left side if you'll be the right
I'll let it bloom and then let it die
Hold out the ocean over your hands
Waiting for something to play out

And your love, your pieces
I wanna get to know you
And I realize in the cold light on the day time
That I'm going under

I'll be the left side if you'll be the right
I'll let the eyes fall into the night
Hold out the ocean over your hands
Hope that the answer goes with the ask
I'll be the left side if you'll be the right
I'll let it bloom and then let it die
Hold out the ocean over your hands
Waiting for something to play out

Kinetic swivel😁
Every time I come back to this song I have to bump my rating higher. I know vocals for this kind of electronic track is love it or hate it but I think they pull it off really well.

Kidding....But personally I prefer Zola Blood over Radiohead by a mile.

It's all better than horns, bongos and La Cucaratcsha!
This makes up for countless horns, bongos  and noise!
This band is so good. There's some video of a live gig out there - excellent. I'd love to see them. I do have to say, however, that the latest album is a bit more contemplative. I hope they come back to this earlier style.

Instantly.

It's just really good!

Love this band and album, and the Two Hearts single. Volume 10, sing like nobody’s listening. The power of RP thank you!
this band is rad

Excellent! Another band that I never heard of prior to RP. Thanx RP!

Keep listening and I'm sure you'll hear those soon.  Another method is to rate those bands highly and then select the "My Favorites" stream and you might hear them more frequently.  Long Live RP!!

You can also make submissions....no success so far personally, but theoretically.....
Thanks RP, I am amazed that such songs are here, I always thought I'd only hear them on my own spotify playlists.
Thanks RP.
thanks for making me discover this group

Mary tripped up Mary... Mr. Blood's sister was just an innocent front runner.
Actual lyrics:

Lay down your sequence
I wanna get to know you
In the air that you're breathing
I wanna get to know you

Under street signs at sunrise
I wanna get to know you
Or I'll forget the feeling
Before it's even over, over

I'll be the left side if you'll be the right
I'll let the hours fall into the night
Hold out the ocean over your hands
Hope that the answer goes with the ask
I'll be the left side if you'll be the right
I'll let it bloom and then let it die
Hold out the ocean over your hands
Waiting for something to play out

In all of your pieces
I wanna get to know you
And I realize in the cold light of the day time
That I'm going under

I'll be the left side if you'll be the right
I'll let the hours fall into the night
Hold out the ocean over your hands
Hope that the answer goes with the ask
I'll be the left side if you'll be the right
I'll let it bloom and then let it die
Hold out the ocean over your hands
Waiting for something to play out

So, when a song goes from a 7 then eventually to a 10 for me, I do research, and the lyrics that are posted just didn't match up with what I was hearing.
Played Out.
Insert something new, or just different.
Liking this more as I listen to it. Moved from 7 to 8 and now moving to 9.
These guys sound like “Kent”’from Sweden which Bill spins on the turntables now and then.
Reminds me a lot of Radiohead

what an odd place to put this instead of sending an email

From RP FAQs:
"How do I submit music or suggest artists to RP?

You can do that here: https://www.radioparadise.com/music/submissions/submit.
We don't accept submissions via mail or email. "

ehh, it's an acquired taste.
Loving this RP found band!!! More so with new speakers at home

I've just a question for you :
Is it possible to ear sometimes some Very big group as YES, Genesis, the Who, Procol Harum, van der graaf generator, blue oyster cult, and others of this périod.
Thanks a lot and  keep on going....We love the job you do.

So funny. You've got to be a fan of 1980's track and field to get that reference, but I think 'Zola Budd' every time I see this band name too!

Not a bad song however, it's one thing to be influenced by Radiohead and another thing to sound like them.

I do love Gilkyson’s cover. But, to have a great cover, you need to start with a great song. Maybe not a perfect song, but a great song. Awful songs usually don’t get covered, but if they do, the covers are lousy too; I can’t think of an exception. When I hear a great cover, especially when I have a preference for the cover, I also recognize that appreciating the cover simultaneously appreciates the song writer that made that cover possible.

My guess is that it happens all of the time, but you just don't know it because the original recording was not good, underappreciated or obscure thus didn't get any air time.
No. Worse than Gotye.

this is neat   : )    early this morning I youtube'd Moses Daniel spin-class and rode my bike in my basement for almost an hour, only 12 degrees outside, funky disco ride man!!!
Whinywhinywhiny... sing or cry, make up your mind. {#Frustrated}
Didn't his sister trip up Mary?
Plays well with rain on an early fall morning...
Very, Very Gold!
Love the aesthetic {#Neutral}
Alt-J + Radiohead + Boy and Bear + ocean references = sweet

Sounds a lot like Local Natives. But nobody knows that band, so why bother
I can hear the Radiohead and Alt-J similarities in this, but it also reminds me of music older than that - electronic stuff like OMD and the like.  Every band probably has numerous influences.
i would have bet good money (or bad, for that matter) that i was listening to ALT-J...thus the reason i'm not a betting person
Great track.  Interesting to read the Godley and Creme comparisons in the comments for the previous track (Supergrass - "Sad Girl").  I see what you did there Mr G.  This is as close to Godley and Creme as you'll get without listening to the original. To my ears, of course.

edit:  I wouldn't mind betting they listen to a lot of the latest Radiohead, too.
brought a smile to my face and some kinetic swivel to my hips  : )  that's good

This was a great sounding track at LOUD volumes...really good workout for my mid-bass and subs.  8 from the sonically surprised in Seattle!

Long Live RP!!

*Edit* I also like the line "I'll be the left side if you'll be the right" as it reminds me of the saying "I'll be 6 if you'll be 9."

I'll be the first to comment since I submitted this - thank you RP for playing. This entire album is a fantastic! {#Smile}
this is good! {#Good-vibes}
