When I go back Baltimore, need no carpet on my floor
Come along and follow me, we'll go down to Galilee

Green Green Rocky Road, Promenade in green
Tell me who you love tell me who you love

See that crow up in the sky, he don't walk no he just fly
He don't walk and he don't run, keeps on flappin to the sun

Green Green Rocky Road, Promenade in green
Tell me who you love tell, me who you love

Ooka Dooka Soda cracker, does your momma chew tobacco
If your momma chews tobacco, sing ooka dooka ooka dooka soda cracker

Green Green Rocky Road, Promenade in green
Tell me who you love tell, me who you love

When I go back to Baltimore, need no carpet on my floor
You come along and follow me, there's a man in Galilee

Green Green Rocky Road, Promenade in green
Tell me who you love tell, me who you love

Decent rendition, but it's not the McGarrigle Sisters ...

Thanks goodness. That version seems rushed and overproduced to me. I'll take Dave Van Ronk's spare, more deliberately paced version, breaks in his imperfect voice and all.
I honestly thought this song was specifically written for the movie given its comically derivative lyrics referencing the folk waterfront.
One of the Cohn brother's quirkiest and most enjoyable movies. Oscar Isaac was brilliant.
This sounds a lot like Ryan Bingham, most recently of Yellowstone fame. That's a good thing, IMO.

Yep, pretty much my reaction (to the movie); OK, but once was enough.
"Blood Simple" on the other hand, now there's a movie!

I felt the same, but after a few years I watched it again and was devastated.  I'm sure it depends on how you go into it.

This is a standard from the early 60s Folk Movement; think Peter Paul Mary, Dave van Ronk.... It is a delightful song, I'm glad that Mr. Estrada also likes it - he does a fair to middling job
I don't love covers where it seems the artist is trying to sound as close as possible to the original.  This sounds like a Von Ronk impression to me.  It's definitely not bad, but also definitely not original. (In this particular case the term 'original' is probably not correct, as it is a traditional song... but Von Ronk claims it for me)
wonderful movie
Beautiful movie...
Poe! Who knew!
Absolutely wonderful.  Great movie as well.
I hear Dave Von Ronk...

Bill, it's "Llewyn" Davis, not "Llewelyn" Davis. (That is, "Lew-en", not "Lew-ellen".)

I just watched it again the other day, and enjoyed it again.  You either get it, or you don't!

And of course, this is the killer "catchphrase":

i still haven't seen the movie
i did see Coen Bros first the other day
Simple Blood

i like this song
a little voice inflection at times
like Mississippi John Hurt
I remember as a kid in the 70s singing along to this song with the headphones cranked up. Peter, Paul and Mary.

Note, Bill, that the movie and title character are Llewyn Davis — two syllables. Everyone wants to say "Llewellyn."
Great movie.....good music
This dude is going to be an X wing pilot!!!!!
