The tongue illustration became a de facto logo over time, but I think the designer/illustrator was never really paid for it--at least not much. I read that he let too much time elapse before pursuing it in court. Seems like it wouldn't kill the Stones to throw the guy a bone. Not like they can't afford it.

Glad i'm not the only one . To me they are dull, repetitive, tuneless and moronic. How few RSlyrics get stolen or quoted , how many of their tunes to you find yourself whistling ?nada.

I still listen to Black & Blue, and Tattoo You once in a while. The great thing about this album is the diversity. I know it sounds crazy, but it's not really a rock album, per se. Outside of Brown Sugar, there's not much rock on it, just an amazing compilation of great songs of all different styles (blues, country, R & B, etc.). I think that's why the album has remained popular for 40 years.

Nope; UN means Get Ready, by The Temptations. Cool song, and the first part of the riff is the same. Not sure which one came first.
Edit: Actually by Smoky Robinson, but The Temptations do the version I'm used to...

The only explanation I can think of, is this is a classic bitch and the bitch in that band's name has yet to gain that status
After a tough divorce, I was buoyed by a friend who said, "When you think of her, don't think of her name -- think 'That Lousy Bitch' instead." It caused me to laugh out loud, and actually helped. Whistling or humming the guitar part to this song was equally helpful.
