Say Hallelujah
Throw up your hands
The bucket is kicked
The body is gone

Close your eyes
And bow your head
To rest your soul
And to praise the dead

Say Hallelujah
Throw up your hands
The bucket is kicked
The body is gone

Dry your eyes
And stand upright
Put a smile on your face
He wouldn't want us to cry

The sun will rise
The stars will shine
Turning day to dusk
And night to dawn
We'll pass on
But until that time

Say Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Say Hallelujah
Hallelujah

Say Hallelujah
Throw up your hands
The bucket is kicked
The body is gone

Have mercy
It's a wonderful life
Eternal rest for the weary
Mourners party tonight

Say Hallelujah
Throw up your hands
The bucket is kicked
The body is gone

Wave your hands
But don't say goodbye
We're all gonna meet you
On the other side

Great song at first! But, it gets boring after that same clapping being repeated. I have music ADD, I think...
You definitely have ADD. This song is two minutes and eleven seconds according to AMG. (I kept me comment nice and short to make sure you get all the way through it.)

Perhaps it is intermittent tinnitus. See an audiologist immediately.

Like Tracy Chapman. Terrific voice. Every time. And I, too, have been wondering about the sound of a low-key (low-vitality?) spiritual. Would the nice effect reached here be lost with a more spirited, hand-clapping-in-the-aisles rendering? Maybe, maybe not. Does the RP library have some Tracy Chapman more like that?

Missed an unprecedented three 10's in a row ...by *that* much. Still, a 9! Thanks!

Hey, fella, some technical error crept in--I did not do that on purpose! 8O :( Here is what I wrote: Tracy Chapman seems to have the black bluesy gospel sound down perfectly. I love the way it makes me pat my feet. Play it again often.

best funeral dirge I've ever heard of -- what I'd want at my memorial service
Such a great song!
Great concert last night in DC. Not even that big of a fan, but she put on a tremendous show.
This is my favorite song on her new album. I love it! When she has a new album, I always think first that they all sound alike, then after multiple listenings I change my mind. I think she is such a beautiful artist, and I hope she keeps producing new music for a long time.

I don\'t like Tracy Chapman music much, but she sounds quite good on this song. :p
While I like most of her stuff, there\'s been a bit much of it lately for my recent mood, I guess.
