Hey gidi koca dünya
Gam yükü müsün
Söyle söyle fani dünya
Dert küpü müsün

Dünya handır han içinde
Yaşar o ruh can içinde
Rüya gibi gelir geçer
İnsanoğlu gam içinde

Dertli ağlar dertsiz ağlar
Dünya içinde
Dertli ağlar dertsiz ağlar
Dünya içinde

Hey gidi koca dünya
Gam yükü müsün
Söyle söyle fani dünya
Dert küpü müsün

Dünya döner değirmendir
İnsan içinde bir candır
Bugün gelir yarın gider
Dolup boşalan bir handır

Dertli ağlar dertsiz ağlar
Dünya içinde
Dertli ağlar dertsiz ağlar
Dünya içinde

Dünya handır han içinde
Yaşar o ruh can içinde
Rüya gibi gelir geçer
İnsanoğlu gam içinde

Dertli ağlar dertsiz ağlar
Dünya içinde
Dertli ağlar dertsiz ağlar
Dünya içinde

Hey gidi koca dünya
Gam yükü müsün
Söyle söyle fani dünya
Dert küpü müsün

English:

Oh you, the big old world
Are you full of sorrow?
Tell me, just tell me you mortal world
Are you overtroubled?

World is an inn in the inns
That soul lives in the souls
It goes by just like a dream
Mankind is in deep sorrow

People cry, with or without trouble
In the world
People cry, with or without trouble
In the world

Oh you, the big old world
Are you full of sorrow?
Tell me, just tell me you mortal world
Are you overtroubled?

World turns, it's a mill
Man is a being in it
He comes today and goes tomorrow
It's an inn which gets empty and full

People cry, with or without trouble
In the world
People cry, with or without trouble
In the world

World is an inn in the inns
That soul lives in the souls
It goes by just like a dream
Mankind is in deep sorrow

People cry, with or without trouble
In the world
People cry, with or without trouble
In the world

Oh you, the big old world
Are you full of sorrow?
Tell me, just tell me you mortal world
Are you overtroubled?

Are you a child? because you've said the same thing several times already.  Are you looking for mommy's attention?

EXCELLENT TUNE!   There is only ONE TUNE by them on the RP Playlist.  Please add MORE!!   Thank You.
Amazed to hear!
Oh this is so nice
And one more Turkish song! Delighted to hear these notes and the words, thank you RP! Feels very much like '70s Turkish rock songs, love it.

This is the most insightful statement I’ve read in a very long time George. Thank you!

Finally, Altin Gun on the RP!

 I think it's not Bill's choice... :)
Really hurt my ears. Again.

I like it. Reminded me to some degree of Dengue Fever.
Hurt my ears...{#Neutral}
Hey, there's that wise old Arabic rabbit-hole word dunya again, ~dig... I like it! Such a cool groove...
I love the question the lyricist poses! I myself often wonder if the world of this life is a big troublemaker, bent on giving us the ultimate test. It does feel as if suffering the caprices of Fate can be almost too much to bear at times, and it does indeed seem as if people come and go --  just as the days of our life go by -- with complete indifference to our cries of joy or sorrow....
Interesting lyrics!
Great band from my hometown! Definitely deserves some further investigation if you like this song.
I like. The opening groove reminded me of Khruangbin but not quite as locked in. They sound like they'd be great live so I'll try to catch tnem next time they swing through NYC.
