Break my mind open, rebuild me backwards
Up and down, round and round
Until a form takes non corporeal states
We're bound to pound the ground
Till all of the stars fall out of the sky
Oooooooooooh
Honey don't start that again
Winning or losing or picking sides,
Our stories twist to unfold
Up on your high horse my quiet resistance
So find the truth told
All good things in time
if 6 is a 9
Oooooooooooh
Honey don't start that again
Playing your Russian roulette
All good things in time
if 6 is a 9
Oooooooooooh
Honey don't start that again
Playing your Russian roulette
Look at you placing your bet
You liked me more off of my head

That simple little guitar riff makes me deliriously happy.
These guys are really good at making songs about two-digit numbers, apparently. This and Emergency 72 are my favorites.

I just watched the Grammys recently, unfortunately.  No one that appeared on the show even came close to this in terms of quality and musicality.

NOT EVEN CLOSE!

WHAT ON EARTH HAS HAPPENED TO THE MUSIC INDUSTRY?

Thom Yorke and Billie Eilish happened.
Love this; “Up on your high horse my quiet resistance So find the truth told All good things in time”

Going to see them later this year, excited to read that they are good live.. I suspected they would be.

Enjoy the show and report back to us "also wanting to see TB live" crew....I've been digging their tunes on RP a lot lately....this one's currently an 8 and I'm going to +1 it....Long Live RP!!

I'm listening to newer music thanks to RP.   And am getting use to using emojis so my grand daughter doesn't think I helplessly hopeless.{#Bananasplit}{#Dancingbanana_2}{#Moon}

So, bottom line, I like this song, it has a good beat and you can dance to it, despite my grand daughter's bossing me around into a butt emoji.

Hooray for us "older" people!
Have been a big fan of Turin Brakes for ages, but never heard them on the 'radio' ... until now. Love this station ... Thank you, thank you, thank you
always reminds me of the similar sounding title track of the movie the mothman prophecies

Thank you, Dick Clark ha ha ha!
Never understood the appeal of this band. I saw them live in London at the start of their career. At a venue (since demolished) at Soho Square. The Astoria. Around 2004 I guess. Their mums were in the audience.

Future Boy was their big song back then. Every song since then has sounded the same to me.

Been a fan of these guys for some time now.  They keep creeping up my favourites list. Consistently good song-writing.

Kinda has a Steely Dan vibe.  I like it.

I had never heard of this band until a couple of days ago, and this is the second song that I've just had to stop and say, "What is this!?". Great pick!
hmm if 6 was 9? heard that b4 w Jimi

Dang, that sure is a catchy guitar lick in there, ain't it? I've liked them since their debut, and am pleasantly entertained by their latest!
good from a consistently good band

Amazing Band. Must see live!!

I saw them in May at the Bearded Theory Festival - they were the stand-out act for me - superb attention to detail (i.e. the sound quality & mix etc) along with an excellent performance.
The sound quality was as good as a studio recording, with the added benefit of being live - it was almost magical. {#Meditate}
This is a catchy song - The riff is cool and different. And the bass lines are driving.

This would get a much higher rating if it wasn't for that uber-annoying riff between the vocals

Great band still putting out top tunes.  Pleased to hear it.
I read it as "Lost Turin Property Brakes" {#Roflol}

Amazing Band. Must see live!!
Am I # 1??
