Oh yeah
Ah
You're gonna wake up one morning as the sun greets the dawn
You're gonna wake up one morning as the sun greets the dawn
You're gonna look around in your mind, girl, you're gonna find that
I'm gone
You didn't realize
You didn't realize
You didn't realize
You didn't realize
You didn't realize
Oh, you're gonna miss me, baby
Oh, you're gonna miss me, baby
Oh, you're gonna miss me, child, yeah, yeah
I gave you the warning
But you never heeded it
How can you say you miss my lovin'
When you never needed it?
Yeah, yeah, ow
You're gonna wake up wonderin'
Find yourself all alone
But what's gonna stop me, baby?
I'm not comin' home
I'm not comin' home
I'm not comin' home
Oh, oh, oh, yeah
Oh, oh, oh, yeah
Ah

Amazing and cool stuff Bill plays. Somehow I missed this in my youth-so thanks again.
Me too.
WOW, RP thanks for that trippy proto pschedelic sound!
RIP Roky -2019
Roky. Cool, spacey stuff. Flamed out early, but that was some great ear vibe. Dr. John kept his shit together, fortunately.
RIP, Roky...
band member Tommy Hall plays the "electric jug"?

My first Roky experience was the When the Pyramid Meets the Eye compilation I bought when I was in school. All covers of 13th Floor Elevators/Roky songs, with bands like REM, Julian Cope, ZZ Top, Primal Scream, on and on. I about wore that out! Highly recommended. So now I am getting into the originals.
Yeah !!!
this is SINCERELY appreciated...
A++ for playing 13th Floor Elevators!

Yeah INDEED. Am listening to "Slip Inside This House " right now. Very cool...
So you live in Sedona, huh? My grandparents retired there and helped found Sedona's public library. They were Goldwater Republican types--I think they'd freak out if they were around to see Sedona's transformation into a New Age Harmonic Convergence hot spot.
there's a dissenter in every crowd...I found this hard on the ears. To each their own, eh?
YEAH!
Pretty cool tune. At first I thought it was the something new from the Rolling Stones and I was thinking 'Wow, they're good again'. Can't believe I missed this one for decades!
Roky Erikson's seminal psychedelic band, from Austin in the late 60's.
What a surprise to hear this here.
I actually had a buddy, Dave D., who lived in Crete, Nebraska, a town of less than 4,000 people, who was into these guys in around '67 or '68.
How he was hip enough to have heard of these guys, much less have purchased their LPs, I'll never know!
oh what a glorious day to step inside this house...
