…2x now and I like! Lots of winky culture refs + vampire-weekend playfulness, lovely horns here and there…I like how it goes off the rails to a conga line. And really like the abrupt “that’s it — we done” end. I’m starting at 8.

Okay, you got me to go listen to some of this guy's other recordings. He certainly has some vocal talent. And I'd characterize him as having talent in assembling & stringing-together non-boring bits of music/sounds/textures (like in this song, or in "Letting Myself Go" for example). And style wise he shows a range on his Vevo page (e.g. Tension (Breakfast Remix)). I'm not sure I'd add him to my favorites, but I regard what I'm hearing more toward the brilliant end of the talent spectrum.

I'm always up for a quirky song about breakfast, or Bohemians, but a bit too much going on here. An exploration in multiple sub-genres for sure.
