Wife and I saw Glass Beams open for St. Vincent a few weeks ago. Their live sound is almost exactly like their album sound, which we thoroughly enjoyed. I commented that night that they were the perfect opening band and vibe setter but not sure how they could ever be a headliner and command an audience. Glad to hear them on RP, and interested to see where they take their sound in the future.
This is a very cool tune. Maybe RP could play some others from them? Hint, hint…
My daughter introduced me to them recently... I brought her up well

cool even/because its like a perfect khruangbin clone

Thank you William’s friend, Knizzel.
First listen. 7 Trippy - ish
Heard about them from a friend recently. I already bought their vinyl and enjoy it a lot!
It was only a matter of time before this would end up on RP as well... Thanks to the person submitting it, and thanks for playing it!
I knew it :)

Thanks to the new bumper he recorded and inserted after this track, we now know what William's new favorite sexy-time jam is...
The song has a nice groove, but it's nothing to write home about. it's a bit repetitive, dancing around the same two chords in the Arabic minor modes.
Khruangbin's May Ninth, on the other hand, is background music that still tries to tell a story with vocals and guitar, and the song has an identifiable verse and chorus structure.
