You didn't send me no letter
Don't think I could forgive you
See our world is slowly dying
I'm not wasting no more time
Don't think I could believe you
Yah, you never said a word
You didn't send me no letter
Don't think I could forgive you
See our world is slowly dying
I'm not wasting no more time
Don't think I could believe you
Yah, our hands will get more wrinkled
And our hair will be grey
Don't think I could forgive you
And see the children are starving
And their houses were destroyed
Don't think they could forgive you
Hey, when seas will cover lands
And when men will be no more
Don't think you can forgive you
Yah when there'll just be silence
And when life will be over
Don't think you will forgive you
Yah, you never said a word
You didn't send me no letter
Don't think I could forgive you
See our world is slowly dying
I'm not wasting no more time
Don't think I could believe you

Maybe I need to do the same.
Damn, that's right up there with my 10th grade history teacher: Harry Richard Weiner.
was there a more appropriately named politician than Anthony Weiner (former Congressman from New York)?
I presume a descendent of Sir Richard Everard, 4th Baronet, the colonial governor of North Carolina from 1725-1731?
Proprietor of NYC's Everard Baths?
Which one's The Prick?
the one that isn't lilly wood or robin schulz, i'd bet.

Or my sister's accountant Mark Hunt.
hey Beavis! This band is called. .........................................
its nice
its peppy
its a peppy prayer
You've got to have , erm, balls.. to carry a stage name like that.
Reminds me of my late uncle - he had quite a high rank in the military, but insisted on being called Dick instead of Richard. Innocent enough.. except that his last name was Everard.
As if to say to the troops, "Got something to say wiseguy? Go on, make my day punk".

It kind of helps me do my morning yoga stretching except for the balancing part.
Its that damn rythmn that throws me off.
Much increased support for this sentiment in the month or 2 in between our posts - from both women and men here in the UK.
Other words also used... examples - liar / incompetent / leader of a criminal enterprise /...
I understand that laughing stock is more popular outside of the UK
Interview of Benjamin Cotto and Nili Hadida : "Lilly Wood and the Prick", what does that name mean?
Ben : It reflects a magical universe that would reflect the transition from childhood to adulthood.
Nili: This group of words symbolizes the contrast between something sweet and something vulgar. Lilly Wood could be a young girl's first name. "the prick" in the common language means "le petit con", "le branleur" (in French), someone who does stupid things. They are like two sides of the same character. We work a lot on contrasts and it was logical that this should be reflected in the name of the group.
Thank you for that explanation, Papyjeff. I love this song, but I have to say I have some difficulty getting past the name "Lilly Wood and the Prick." A magical universe? Ummm, I sorta see what he's getting at, but... really? Nili's explanation of the expression "the prick," as "someone who does stupid things" shows a lack of awareness of English idiom, lol.
The Collins-Robert French-English dictionary has a nice feature for picking up the nuances of swear words in another language. It rates such expressions with 1-3 stars. Three stars indicate a word that non-native speakers should be wary of using. Prick used in this way is a 3-star word in the 1982 edition of the dictionary. Where I come from one might call others pricks, but likely wouldn't call oneself "the prick."
Nili translates "the prick" as "le branler." Collins-Robert's meaning for se branler is " to wank" (three stars). Fine in many settings, but, as I learned on my last trip to the UK, not something one would say in polite company. I referred to Boris Johnson as "a wanker." The woman in the room were not amused (though I did get a few smiles from the men :)

Worst stage name, even for a porn "actor."

Not the only song to know this sad fate, either...
It's a remix, so maybe that explains! The original would be closer to "folk-pop".
And there's a place for that kind of music. Sure, it's not the Stones, but it's not trying to be. It's pleasant and fun to listen to while it's on, and that's all we need.
No disrespect! But I feel it's time to move on...
If you like it, and there's alot of reasons to, check out the label Ultra Music
They feature many similar artists\songs
I am following them because, I like pop too, but if you check them out you will see they release like 5 songs per week ... As mentioned, the flavor runs quick.
Lame singing
Sucko barfo music
Said the guy I'd bet the farm has never written a song. I bet you can't even sing in key. Social empathy
