Far far away you're so far away
Far far away I want it to stay that way
Far far away but you're on my mind
Far far away I thought I'd left you behind
It can wake me up it can make me dive
It can dry my face or bring the waters down
Noone I know cos I won't be seeing you round
Far far away you're so far away
Far far away I want it to stay that way
Far far away but you're on my mind
Far far away I thought I'd left you behind
It can bring me up like a soaring kite
It can bring me down like turning off the light
I can sail away you're the melody of his life
You can bring me back pour water on his pride, your so
Far far away you're so far away
Far far away I want it to stay that way
Far far away but you're on my mind
Far far away I thought I'd left you behind
Time goes slow, further you stray
I am at peace now, you're far away, and there's
Too much that's been said, and there's too much on the table
I'm goin' to get me goin', as soon as I am able, yeah, there's
Too much that's been said, and there's too much on the table
I'm goin' to get me goin', just as soon as I am able, you're
Far far away you're so far away
Far far away I want it to stay that way
Far far away but you're on my mind
Far far away I thought I'd left you behind
Far far away now there's too much on the table
Far far away, as soon as I am able
Far far away, yeah I don't want to see you no more
Far far away I thought I'd closed that door
Far far away far away
Far far away, I want it to stay that way

A interesting song title.
Wonder if anyone ever asks her to sing far away.

"A"? ...
Thanks RP.
Seems, I don't know, derivative? Unoriginal? I feel like I've heard this song before, but with much better lyrics.
I tend to "hate" the "singalong songs" like this one.
A interesting song title.

I wish she'd go far away!
girl's voice and spirit made me jump off a ladder (I'm painting my gallery walls) and rumba my tooshie and clap these hands yee-haaaa!!!

Thanks Bill. Nice to know our local music gets out there :)

She's great. Would love to see her live (in California), but that seems unlikely. May have to go to New Zealand.

gotta love the places she has lived.

According to Wikipedia she grew up near Cape Foulwind, west coast of NZ and has lived in various parts of the globe. She spent a year close to the Atacama Desert in Chile (slideshow) and two years in the Rocky Mountains in Canada and is now based at the foothills of the Southern Alps.

thanks for the link on the Atacama Desert, NoEnz....last time I came to post a comment on this track (like 6 months ago), your link acted like a temporary ADHD causing tonic, and I was completely sidetracked by the images of the quiet beauty of the Atacama desert.

So, I'm here now after taking an imaginary Adderall so I can say this about the song:  I'm surprised I have this rated an 8.  Each time I hear it I think "nah, that's a 6 or 7" but damn if this catchy little pop song, with interesting percussion, doesn't just worm its way into my brain and keep my tap-tap-tapping away on my keyboard with a smile on my face.  And that is all it takes for me to rate an 8.

PEACE and Long Live RP!!

I can see why there is no needs for the lyrics on this one.
I think the album cover needs a caption contest:

Attempt #1
"Seriously, the tour bus left without me?!?!"
