IDK? I will have to listen to it a few more times, before I decide. But, the bass guitar is excellent.
Mercy! Mercy.
It looks like 'Simple minds' from the 80'
Wow, played with Alice Cooper in the early 1980s and still found time to write music for the Love Boat and Starsky & Hutch.
It's not that it's bad, it just goes nowhere. I mean if you want some music to drive through the city at night, well I guess this one works. Other than that, like Alastair said, it's one long intro.
The album is named "And The Earth Bleeds", not "Spirits" I believe
The bass took my out of my dream state
Is it me or is this all intro?

Curious how individual tastes go...
This is brand new to me and I'm loving it! Enough to seek out the album. And if there was a PTA (Play That Again) button I'd tap it.
Yay RP for keeping it interesting!
This is giving me a headache. PSD

Looks so much like George Harrison!

I used to like ambient, and then I started falling asleep. Though this is beautiful, it doesn't go anywhere. There's no energy, no hook to pull me in and build. I gave it an 8, but that's for beauty.
Triangle and bass - mr. gabriels mercy street.... anyone
It reminds me a sonf from Simple minds (New gold dream I think

Sounds so much like an intro to one of Peter Gabriel's songs... nice ambient music.

Sounds like Nikita Sound Track from Eric Serra
Il seems like simple minds
Awesome bassline in this track, all over the range for the instrument. Very nice, bumping 7+1=8!
LLRP!!

The triangle is pretty hardcore (though I suspect it's an electronic loop and not a real, metal triangle being played). The bass is cool.
sounds surprisingy out of date for 2014. 4.

Perfect. Totally agree.
This song cries out for Peter Gabriel to come in on vocals.

His former band, Sonis Dada, deserves more airplay.
Amazing transition into Dandy Warhols - Mohammed from this piece.

1984, surely. Wonderful. Mick Karn, again, for me.
