The Kruger Brothers grew up playing music in Switzerland and began public performances as young boys there in the 1970's. In 1982, Jens moved to the U.S., where he performed with bluegrass legend Bill Monroe before returning to Switzerland. The brothers continued  performing bluegrass in the U.S., so extensively in the 1990's that they decided to move to North Carolina full-time in 2003. Since then, they've released 25 CD's on their own label and are members of the Blue Grass Music Hall of Fame
I love this.
That is some incredibly good pickin’b

…but they were born in Germany (even though they later moved to Switzerland, where they formed the band)

Thought it was bela fleck at first listen.  Sounds like his style.  I haven't heard any Bela on RP, wonder why?

One of a number of glaring and inexplicable omissions.
Beautiful!

Might I suggest Sixteen Horsepower. Well, not technically sad, more mournful & angry, but definitely not happy.

"No assertion of notability" - there's a phrase that could stand to be used more often; it really rolls off the tongue.

When I grow up I'm going to learn the banjo...
Their playing is impeccable. Their melodies sublime.

NICE. Lovely picking of a melody.
