Great music transcends language barriers. So glad I was able to catch Oliver live a few times.
You lucky duck. I wish that I could have been there to see & hear him too!
The minor 7th is not resolved before each final chord. Something missing.
I DON'T CARE! GREAT TUNE! I like it. Thanx RP!
You must have liked the whole song then. It's 4:54 long :-)
Time flies when you are having fun!
Agreed. This stuff is elemental to RP's magnificent music mosaic.
It certainly is NOT Top 40 Radio fodder like Cougar and Counting Crows, which bring nothing to this station.
Ace-marc, great alliteration.
Great music too.
Thanks for playing it Bill!

RP's music is more eclectic than the taste of some of its listeners.

Alright, yes, better than instant psd.
Really like Oliver Mtukudzi, ever since Tuku Music ('99).
Thank you RP, for including some good African music in your set lists. Appreciate it!
and he's at Koerner Hall in Toronto on April 18!
Maybe Paul Simon took that Graceland style from somewhere else. It doesnt exactly sound like Elvis does it?
That's hardly surprising
The drummer was distracted because he was looking for a PSD button.
… It sounds like the drummer was bored and decided the song was over.

Was in Swaziland recently and was asked how I could know the music of Oliver Mtukudzi from Zimbabwe. Oh well, said I airily, he's on a station in Paradise regularly.
They thought that had to be a joke.
Oliver is also a regular on the festival and concert circuit. I've seen him live a few times now. Perhaps that person in Swaziland doesn't realize artists these days make most of their income via touring. And it was indeed RP, where I first heard Oliver. One of the best finds, of a long list, IMO.
Swaziland is a land long on corruption, but short on global erudition. The bus I was on got arrested and we were confined to a parking lot for a day and a half until the appropriate bribe could be arranged and we were allowed to proceed on our way.

Everybody in my mushrooming multitude of churches be dancing buck ass naked all over the world... love this song... love sex, drugs, and rock 'n roll...
and how Laz! I shook my skinny hips the length of this boppin tune and what a workout!!! Hallieloooyah
Haha, I see what you mean, but at least it's an ending. I think it beats almost any fadeout. It sounds like the drummer was bored and decided the song was over.
I'm just happy it ended.
