Yes, shall we take a spin again in business?
This time is fixed, let's sweeten our facilities
It took all the man in me to be the dog you wanted me to be
Shall we take a spin again, no witnesses
This time is fixed, seven three seven is
You won't feel a thing begging until you give it up insane
Fish like little silver knives, make the cuts on my inside
Yeah, let him feast, my heart is big, my heart is big
My blood will slide in metal studs
Tourniquet will hold it's groove
Tourniquet will keep it's grip
It took all the man in me to be the dog you wanted me to be
Yeah, let him feast, my heart is big, my heart is big, my blood will slide
Yeah, let him feast, my heart is big, my heart is big, my blood will slide

Got not to lose but my chains, internet feats on my brains
Head in the sand, feet in the clay
And time is still, like grease it slips sucking in, spitting pips
Yeah, spitting pips
Not to lose but my chains, internet beats on my brains
Head in the sand, feet in the clay, a place to piss, a place to pray

A little money should tell me of my faith
This gun of smoke is slaying me
And time is still, like grease it slips sucking in, spitting pips
Yeah, spitting pips
My heart was big and like my pride let them feast on my insides
And when the filled had spilled it's guts, gently open then it shuts
I'm in the hole three thousand days, a buried soul
They live the dream in terminal, no war too mean
I know the drill, got cells to burn, I'm dressed to kill
A mortal coil and time is still on secret soil
Yeah, pay the bills, cells to burn, mouths to fill
On Boeing jets in the sunset make glowing threats

I must be too old. I had to check the comments to see if people liked this. I found it irritating.

From their million-selling album "Misty Moods for Depressed Cretins." They deserved the awards-- you really have to work hard to create music this suckass. It's like a cheap Casio Rhythm Composer drum machine, a matching child's Casio keyboard track that repeats endlessly, and a lot of whining.

DON'T WORRY! No live musicians will suffer the embarrassment of having been associated with the production of this crud. Is it a paean on the meaninglessness of life? WHAT HAS CAUSED RADIO PARADISE TO PLAY CRUD LIKE THIS ENDLESSLY?

Profile name checks out!
Sure wish they would tour here in the USA!

There is a great Youtube video of them doing 4 tracks including this one, worth watching. Impressive.

Say it as many times as you like but it's still cobblers.
Wow, this is annoying. Except for the jam at the end.
First song you write on guitar sounds like this. Clueless filler.
Always SO special - their contribution. They still hit the spot.
I'll say it again....Putin's fave band.
Great track from a decent enough album - the EP collaboration with Burial around the same time was excellent - Four Walls - only 2 tracks but brilliant 👍
This band got really huge while I was in Japan, and hearing them now that I'm once again back in Boulder gives me invigorating and inspiring jolts from many very special and interesting parts of Life.

Dear Massive Attack, PLEASE write more music.

And find different vocalists.
These guys make such good musical things, and then ruin them with lame male vocalists.

Wow; remember when we could actually attend concerts? Saw MA last summer in Montreal and this song was a standout. Mesmerizing light-panels, too!

I saw them in Chicago when Shara Nelson was singing.

Whole album is so good!
Not their best song, for sure.

I think Bill agrees; he has 5 songs from this album on his playlist.
Metronomes voted this song down, but we voted it up.  My daughters also sing "boots and cats and boots and cats" to it.

Blur, Icehouse and now Massive Attack? It's a parade of sexy vocals and trippy vibes. Love it!
Kool tune.

Methinks Tobacco may have had MA as an influence...

And bring another tour through Dallas, while you're at it, please. {#Pray}

Must confess the first 20 seconds got me scared. But the song develops into plenty of unexpected and creative directions. Nice piece of work.
Like them, not this

This is such a good album. It was my intro to MA... A fine intro too.

I think this song deserves a "Big Bang".
Great song...
{#Bananapiano}
You know, if they got that guy to STFU this would be kind of cool.
the male singer in this group always wrecks everything about them for me.
I find it irritating..the vocals mostly
great tune from an even better album!!!
