This is the end of the tracks
Where the fountains fly into your eye
Nobody's hurting and nobody's crying
They fly into your eye never to die...

They say the man he used to sail on his journey
And laid a trap to rob, the pilgrims for their money
He placed his gold all over this world
And in morning as he looked out over Cairo
He makes his process and his smoked them in a barrel
He could not die and we never found out why

This is the end of the tracks
Where the fountains fly into your eye
Nobody's hurting and nobody's crying
They fly into your eye never to die...
This is the end of the tracks
Where the fountains fly into your eye
Nobody's hurting and nobody's crying
They fly into your eye never to die...

No one's getting older, everybody's feeling young
Journey's almost over now, there's hope for everyone

This is the end of the tracks
Where the fountains close (this is the end of time)

Most overrated band alive.
Banal dribble🤨
It sounds like they are using a tuba for a bass line. Does anyone know if that's what it is?
Folk Implosion?
Love it.

NEED MORE KASABIAN
Twist and turn, scream and shout, PsYKeDELiKK!!! I like it, just like the 60's! I wasnt there though!!!
Really dirgie...speakers are buzzing (not in a good way). New genre, Dirge Trip?

You must be aware that some variation of that sentiment has been proclaimed by just about anyone over 35 years of age, about the contemporary popular music of their time, for at least the last 70 years.  Throughout its history, rock 'n' roll has primarily been for "younger" folks.

Ha ha.  Get off my lawn.

I'm not a fan of Dad Rock on any level, really, although I did see Paul Carrack at the weekend.  I took my lad, who is 11, and he was horrified to be the only whippersnapper amongst the wrinklies.  Really, the only person there under 50.  He stuck it out, though, so fair play.  Something a bit more contemporary next time, I think.  He really wants to see Death Cab or the Pixies, which suits me fine ...

I still agree with our friend below.  This is landfill.

Edit:  We've now seen DCFC, who were great by the way...
Truly awful. Distorted, discordant, banal.

yes, I guess...I don't know, whatever

These chaps seem pretty popular, especially amongst the younger, student types.  However, I think it is tripe.

Wonder if Charlie Manson gets to listen to this on his cell radio?

Ooh, nasty! ;-)
I'm a fan of Kasabian, if you like this song I'd recommend the rest of the album particular favorites of mine are "Vlad the Impaler" and "Fire"!
Nice!

Really got into these guys after hearing them on RP. Can't put my finger on it, but there's something about their stuff that clicks with me... Maybe I'm just biased.

Awesome set this a.m., Bill.  Great grant-writing music.  Thanks!

These guys are surprising - have some great stuff in with some really marginal/hohum/sucko/barfo.  Just like Snow Patrol.
..atonal (if that's the right term) start draws in, the rest of it pulls ya right along..

..i think i like this group (thx RP!)..

This has a cool hippie feel to it.  I like it a lot, especially on the heels of Porcupine Tree!

Krenwinel or Fromme next.  I may be an old, obsolute Dead Head but still open to new stuff.  Thanks for the stuff.
From the song comments looks like I might like this one, will have to give it a listen sometime.
Saw them unplugged show in a Club in Berlin on TV. Very good!
Don't these guys make kacymbals?

I heard Soft Machine in the beginning, but then they lost it.

very true! Live too...!
Saw them LIVE in Cologne this year,

they even need a helping hand on guitar,
because the real guy couldn't do it.
Soooo funny!!

Good songwriting, though!
Groovy - though not really this song in my opinion!
Still - it's good enough!

As not a fan of them, this song is not bad!

This is an awesome song!

I'm not sure I've ever heard such heavy distortion on a bass before.  I think I like it.  Either that or I hate it.  Not entirely sure which, yet.
Another one of the few new bands that seem to attain excellence in their craft. Imagination at work here, for sure.
Trippy...
One of my favorite tracks off the album. {#Sunny}
LOVING THIS SO MUCH......
圣诞节快乐
Wonderful afternoon with Kasabian and their secret alphabet.
Merry christmas!
Psychedelic man 60's retro
..reminds me a little of Beck...

First listen to anything from the second album.

Significantly different than the first album, but still very Kasabian.  That's not an easy trick to pull off... I think it's a very good sign.

Bob Obringer likes this

It's actually their third:
1. Kasabian
2. Empire
3. West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum

{#Curtain} Oh ummmm yeah! {#Cheers}
...i like it...
I'm actually very surprised this song is rated so low.

I think this is funky, creative and pretty good listening.

yeah, great. I love zombie movies as much as anyone, but I don't wish to hear their dance music.

Zombie dance music... Now there's a thought.

(does the Lurch, the Stagger and the Braaaain)
No sir, I don't like it.
Reminds me a bit of the Twinemen (formerly Morphine).
very underwhelming compared to their previous two albums....

groovy... Although I've only heard a few songs by these guys, I haven't heard one I haven't liked.  Good stuff!
dangerously close to Moody Blues territory to my ears.  it's okay though
nope....starting to agree with the "ow" comment

Ow!!
yeah, great. I love zombie movies as much as anyone, but I don't wish to hear their dance music.
Wow, this is WAY different then their first, eponymous album.  I like both of them.
1st to comment!!! - Yeehaaa{#Tongue} - I'm liking it!!!
