You drink the wine
You play the fool
You cross the line
You lose your cool
But no one cares...
Still no one cares...
You raise the bar
Lost in a trance
One bridge too far
No second chance
But no one cares...
Still no one cares...
We play the game
We hold our own
We fight to win
We stand alone...
You had a dream
You cast the dice
Your shady scheme
You pay the price
But no one cares...
Still no one cares...
We play the game
With hearts of stone
You lose again
You're on your own...
A turning tide
A streak of light
Arms open wide
The end's in sight
And somone cares...
Yes someone cares...
We play the game
We hold our own
We fight to win
We stand alone...
You play the fool
You cross the line
You lose your cool
But no one cares...
Still no one cares...
You raise the bar
Lost in a trance
One bridge too far
No second chance
But no one cares...
Still no one cares...
We play the game
We hold our own
We fight to win

We play the game
We hold our own
We fight to win
We stand alone...

I was a big Alan Parsons fan as a kid. Where the heck did this song come from? Dig the bass line, but that's about it.
Didn't even notice this song until the thumping bass line kicked in. I'm a sucker for a heavy bass line.

Yeah, me too. I was looking around trying to figure out who's cell phone was going off.

Ha ha! This is my mom's cell phone ring tone. I didn't know it was an actual song!

Oh, yes! Synthesizer-heavy prog-rock rules!
"I Robot" a near-classic, and Alan Parsons has other good music. But this? As Borat would say, "not so much".
I thought the Alan Parsons Project was some sort of hovercraft. Or was it a world-destroying laser beam?
Cool. AP on RP.
Glad to hear he's still producing music.

Whoa. Way better than what I remember Alan Parsons sounding like back in the 80s. I like this.
Alan Parsons (Project) always sounds like bad disco music to me.

Actually I thought it was Peter Gabriel.. Really about time we hear some Alan Parson here on RP, but please give us the earlier stuff - as it's a musictreassure that not many seems to know about.
LOVE the Alan Parsons Project. The original 'synth with intelligence', imho.

...this kind of vaguely sounds like the closing music in mass effect...
I thought it was Bryan Ferry for a sec bmeador wrote:

Parsons on RP, about time ;)
Kinda prefer his earlier stuff but this works as well. Excellent production as always.
Is this wink at the Mute Label Btw? (looking at the cover picture)

Works for me. I'll start at 7 and see where it goes with repeated listens...
