I dig this, and I love Silversun Pickups madly, ever since RP turned me on to their "Lazy Eye..." I was going to have to go down to see them play in Denver at The Ogden Feb. 22, a couple weeks away, but... New shit has come to light, man... They're coming to The Boulder Theater TO JAM ON FOUR-TWENTY! ~~ Can't wait!

This guys vocals are the worst.  
You shouldn't be able to hear the singer's breath noises at equal level in the mix should you?
If I was in this band I'd quit.

This is one of the few selections that my wife and I disagree on.  I think this is fantastic, but she never really got into it that much.  She loved Lazy Eye, but the rest of this album never really got her attention. 

Swoon on the other hand, neither one of us thought that much of.

I also got this album just now - basically it's great, like it very much, but the guy (?) on the distorted guitar can sometimes be a pain in the ass. good in the background during the songs, but unbearable in the solos and endings. guess I'll make myself a copy with endings fading out.

I just saw them in concert last Saturday, Nikki sang one song (maybe two, can't remember). Not anything I've heard on RP or on the (:gasp:) radio, she's got a nice voice though.
