Love ain't on my side
Love ain't special
Love ain't great
Lost in a fog
I'm using spite to find my way

Where did you go
I still curse you to this day
I miss the smile
I miss love laughing in my face

And when you come around
Baby I've been so blue
And I sleep with the TV on
It's the only sound, our love's gone

I will recover
I will hear it whispered back
Until then I keep one leg up off that track
Cause he tells you
You are still upon his mind
He'll get around to see you
When he finds the time

And when you come around
Baby I've been so blue
And I sleep with the TV on
It's the only sound, our love's gone

And when you come around
Baby I've been a fool
And I've already waited so long
So long my love has gone

And when you come around
Baby I've been so blue
And I sleep with the TV on
It's the only sound, our love's gone

And when you come around
Baby I've been a fool
And I've already waited so long
So long my love has gone

Ooh and I've already waited so long

More Josh on RP!
People did asked for it! Some a year ago.
Still he is a very undervalued artist on RP.
Just skip a Dire Straits song and give this guy a chance!
Thanks a lot.
I feel like getting high to this song....
Very nice.
One of his best albums! 1972 is great also!
Nice to hear more of him on RadioParadise!
I love that wee-yew part.

Really? I'd bet (and I only bet on certainties) that you are not listening to it every day now. . .
Yeah, whole cd is very enjoyable.

Very nice.  Real nice.  Beginning to End.
Awesome Artist!
Josh Rouse Will allways have a special place in my hearth, thanx for letting me start my day with such a pleasant sound...

He is. His new album is also very good, similar to this in its subtlety. (Click image for Amazon link.)

This guy is so underrated.

Totally. Thought the same thing, only to find you had already nailed it.

James Blunt has NOTHING on Josh.
More Josh, please!
I was listening to Josh Rouse back in his early days. He's a good sound... actually, you can find a lot of interesting new artists through iTunes. They do those free downloads of the week. That's another way I found Spymob. Josh Rouse is fantastic, though. Very mellow, fun, energetic, and the person below me described "pleasant."
This whole album is pleasant in every sense of the word. I enjoy it very much when I want to chill out.
yay :) makes me happy. he was so great in NYC in july :) i miss him!!
I wonder why he named his album Nashville. Perhaps he was ran out of that town like many other talented musicians?

isn't this the guy that likes to dress on women's clothes?
I've seen him countless times, less so now because he moved to Spain. No women's clothes for him (on stage anyway). I can't really understand how such a singer/songwriter can create such crafty pop masterpieces, yet 99% of music listeners have never heard of him. They like James Blunt instead.
reminds me of James Iha's solo album. breezy with harmonized chorus.
I'm digging this song. So full of love, so pure and so sad...I love this melody. There can't be anything better than that.
The chord progression and fills remind me of Fleetwood Mac.
"The screen door slams..." Oops, wrong song.
I'm feelin this

You seem to imply that there is something wrong with that.....

Great artist, very good album. More from Josh!

Thank you for playing one of my favorite JR songs ever! He is phenom, and I can't get enough of him!
Excellent singer songwriter... not too mention, he is great live!
I think this entire album is terrific - I play it several times a week and am happy to hear another track from it on RP
I really dig this album. Not revolutionary, but pleasant and summer-y.
Good mother of toast, pick a note, Mr Harmonica Player!
