Never know what I'm looking for
Until I find it
Never know where I am
until I leave
Not aware the I care
until I'm angry
Don't know what I'm thinking
until I dream

No need to worry?
Think that I'm a loner, but I'm never alone
No need to worry?
Waiting for the summer, but I won't be home
No need to worry?
And I don't understand it

No need to worry?
Think that I'm a loner, but I'm never alone
No need to worry?
Waiting for the summer, but I won't be home
No need to worry?
One who needs another, but the other's unknown
And I don't understand it..

But there's no need to worry
Confusion had it's own embrace
Your mind loves to worry
Your heart plans its own escape
But there's no need to worry
Confusion has its own embrace
Your mind needs to worry
Your heart loves a race

Here's where the fear could release me
It never meant so much

I read they are working on new material. It would be hard to top this amazing album, but looking forward to it nonetheless.

he used similar percussion on several tunes and had a great voice, stronger and more distinctive imo

Hey mix engineer, could you get the snare a little louder in the verses?

Sounds kinda like a slowed-down version of their "Natural One" off the Kids Soundtrack.... until the chorus kicks in. Decent tune!

Thanks I was trying to remember the name of the song. Was driving me crazy
NO!

Yes! Good catch. Must have something to do with the heavy, off-beat drumming.

I thought to myself, I've heard this song before, an checked to see, aha, Folk Implosion, a name I only know from "Natural One" a song I haven't heard in years.

So, a very distinct sound, and I mean that as a positive and a negative.
I'm hearing a bit of Robert Palmer.

So glad to see a few songs from this incredible album making the rotation
Who cares! Great music at RP

Other way round - Snow Patrol haven't been around that long....

So do I.  And so did I.  And I agree.{#Mrgreen}

beat is reminiscent of "Natural One".
I think I'd rather hear that, though  this ins't bad. Just keeps reminding me of the other.

Meh. It starts, you get into the steady groove, and then it fizzles. Kind of Beck but not quite enough oomph.{#Kiss}

Nice, but the drum machine (?) detracts a great deal from it.

Not for me.  If it's a machine, loop, or live drums, it really drives this song; I like how loud and heavy they're mixed.

... dare to be surprised
I wish these guys would get together again for another record. I played this CD constantly when it came out. It's great from beginning to end.
Nice, but the drum machine (?) detracts a great deal from it.

Oddly enough, the Death Cab follow-up happened again today. I guess I don't get it.

Didn't really like these folks when they first appeared on the scene but they've grown on me quite a bit.

Groovy - 5 bonus points.  I always wanted to hear something else from these guys... I might have to go listen to the rest of this album now.  Great sound on the kit.
I've never heard this track before. Me likes!
Folk Implosion = GOOD!! These guys have it right...

Yeah, it sure does have that exact same feel, same rhythm (although isn't it "natural" one?). At least the chorus is different -- but it's kind of blah!

Yup. Something's missing!

like the beginning.. then he starts singing.. and it seems to go down hill after that..
Now these guys have the goods! Smart sophisticated music
Recommended listening along this line The Sebadoh by Sebadoh you will enjoy both the gentle and sonic winds of Lou Barlow
Vocals sounded like Robert Palmer to me at first...
This holds the distinction of the first CD i purchased on the strength of the Paradise playlist. Has it been nearly 2 years? Good stuff...a couple throwaways...mostly solid.
\"I\'m the one... special one...\" Oh, I\'m sorry. Wrong song. Gee, the sure do sound the same, tho. They probably need to swap out the flash memory card in the Casio BeatMaster 9000 and get a new set of beats.
Quite a nice disc...love to hear \"My Ritual\" sometime...
