For me, there is very little this man can do wrong.
Lyrics:
If not for you
Babe, I couldn't even find the door
I couldn't even see the floor
I'd be sad and blue, if not for you
If not for you
Babe, the night would see me wide awake
The day would surely have to break
It would not be new, if not for you
If not for you, my sky would fall
Rain would gather, too
Without your love I'd be nowhere at all
I'd be lost, if not for you
If not for you
The winter would hold no spring
Couldn't hear a robin sing
I just wouldn't have a clue, if not for you
If not for you, my sky would fall
Rain would gather, too
Without your love I'd be nowhere at all
I'd be lost, if not for you
If not for you
The winter would hold no spring
Couldn't hear a robin sing
I just wouldn't have a clue, if not for you
If not for you
If not for you
Babe, I couldn't even find the door
I couldn't even see the floor
I'd be sad and blue, if not for you
If not for you
Babe, the night would see me wide awake
The day would surely have to break
It would not be new, if not for you
If not for you, my sky would fall
Rain would gather, too
Without your love I'd be nowhere at all
I'd be lost, if not for you
If not for you
The winter would hold no spring
Couldn't hear a robin sing
I just wouldn't have a clue, if not for you
If not for you, my sky would fall
Rain would gather, too
Without your love I'd be nowhere at all
I'd be lost, if not for you
If not for you
The winter would hold no spring
Couldn't hear a robin sing
I just wouldn't have a clue, if not for you
If not for you

Yas, so sad that he never reached his full potential. Shame you two never met..he could have been famous.
Yet another great Bob Dylan's song ruined by his deplorable harmonica "playing". Take out those part and this song is beautiful.

That's no excuse for horrible playing, better not do it at all then. This is a professional musician we're talking about. Neil Young does it hands free as well, and it sounds a million times better than this cacophony.

Well I'm trying to come up with a number for how many singers have used a 'mouth harp' aka 'french harp' in a harness just to keep their two hands free to play on the guitar. And sing a song too! That's no excuse for horrible playing, better not do it at all then. This is a professional musician we're talking about. Neil Young does it hands free as well, and it sounds a million times better than this cacophony.

I love Bryan Ferry's cover of this. So many of BD's songs covered by others, usually better IMO.
Well, I did not know this was a Dylan song. How about that?

The Concert for Bangladesh Rehearsal.
"Bob Dylan has at some time in his life embodied the personalities of each of the beatles : the ruthless rockstar - John - in Don't Look Back , the otherworldly contemplative thinker - George - in his born-again christian phase, the romantic familyman - Paul - with Sara Dylan and the kids, and the Ringo in the silly clothing fashion and musical imperfectness of his 21st century live performances."
