If you were around NYC or Northern NJ in the late '70s and '80s you may have watched this guy's show on UHF Channel 68, out of West Orange.  I watched it for years.  Apparently even John Lennon and David Bowie watched his show.

Yup, I used to read the DILBERT strip amongst others, when I would read the Boston Herald or the Globe every morning 20+ tears ago.  Then I stopped buying newspapers. I think it was an acquired taste trying to understand it some times.

I read half of one of his books (borrowed from the library), it was so self important and disconnected from reality. He was mad because he lost money when no one bought his Dilburittos (poor quality, limited flavors for easier selection!?!?). This was well before he went all in on trump. Apparently someone with a bit more intelligence or awareness decided to weigh in (or "Sex Kitten" gets more clicks than "Hollywood" anything on Fox).

The comments section on that link page would have her in the running with Mother Theresa and Eleanor Roosevelt as the greatest woman of the 20th century.

I will judge active artists by their personality as well as their skills and spend my money accordingly. Not sure this works the same way with retired or dead ones
