I used to confuse Kevin Tighe (Randolph Mantooth's partner from Emergency) and Martin Milner (Kent McCord's partner from Adam-12) with one another. Both shows were produced by Jack Webb - aka Joe Friday. Randolph Mantooth always reminded me of the NFL former player and current commentator Cris Collinsworth.
My first memory of Martin Milner comes from this show.

can someone help me figure out the name of an actor, please? he was big in the 70's and maybe part of the 80s. he's dead now, i think. IIRC he was in a cop show, and their were two of them - both young and good looking. (no, not Adam 12 i don't think, and definitely not ChiPS). i believe he was also a soap opera actor for a short time either in the late 70s or early 80s. Dark hair. the other thing i remember is that this guy had a funny last name. like a two-part name. but not hyphenated. it's driving me crazy. he was in my dream last night. and he was the instigator between a big fight between me and the beez. any help would be appreciated.
