The pressure right now is on our youth, to steer our nation.
But mostly, the pressure is on the Republican party. They have the reins and if this country goes to hell we all know exactly whose fault it is.
And they should never ever get another chance at anyone's vote if their leadership drags the nation down.

and if you go back and re read the chain, I did not bring up the non voting.  I simply responded (it was in the article) with an acknowledgement of the subject and indicated that it had no bearing on what was being talked about at the time nor was I interested in talking about it.

Finally we are seeing the results of a generation sheltered from controversy, adversity, opposing views and especially competition that ends with no winners or losers.  No trophies for the winners, but participation trophies for everyone, that deny the achievements of the winners so no ones feelings get hurt.  A generation that has been sheltered by political correctness.  Got to have those safe spaces, because its too hard to cover your ears and scream la, la, la, la, la until the offending noise goes away.  Free speech be damned, anywhere.

I was raised by sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me.  Of course its easier said than done.  But we now have a generation that has never even been challenged with words let alone losing a competition.  A generation that can't handle someone pointing their fingers and saying bang without psychiatric care to overcome the trauma.  Now adults are behaving the same way.

Its so bad that I fear when they finally inherit responsibility for this country and have to defend it, all an invading foreign aggressor has to do is say, your Momma wears combat boots and they will shrink in terror and surrender the country.  The invaders won't even need actual weapons.  A flippin generation of what used to be called candy asses and pantie wastes.
