Is this all about Walz's military record and rank when he retired? Jesus, folks, get a life.
JD Vance as The Couch-F*cker was at least amusing. And John Oliver nailed it when he said that Vance may not have actually done it, but Vance does have "that couch-f*cker vibe."
I don’t disagree with the bias, but… but just because one side is incredibly ridiculous with their lies, falsehoods and even crimes, that doesn’t give the other side a free pass.
That is the point. Evidenced by discourse below.
Something about dishing it out but can't take it when it is their turn to receive the same that they give.
I donât disagree with the bias, but⦠but just because one side is incredibly ridiculous with their lies, falsehoods and even crimes, that doesnât give the other side a free pass.
I mean in a normal election cycle ( if we ever have one of those again, ha!) this might have been enough to blow the campaign.
Once again, a mild verbal gaffe from a Democrat is a capital offense. Any of the thousands of documented instances of Trump intentionally and maliciously lying about more important things than whether a Vet feels butthurt? No big. Tra la.
edit: Oh I see Isabeau said it much better.

I was talking about the person who tweeted it, Ryan Fournier.
Understood. This disinformation, though, could have easily been confirmed.

A source would not be necessary if, in fact, Washington Examiner had reported it.

There's a lot of ratfucking going on. This one has been making the rounds in recent days, no doubt in response to the rumours of Vance and certain activities with a couch.
Curiously, there is no such "reporting" (aka passive-voiced, wishful speculation: "may have to...") on the Washington Examiner site, and it appears that Fournier has since deleted his tweet.
Just saw that myself now - and deleted my post here. No explanation yet from Fournier. May be a weak attempt at ye olde ratfucking.

If your views on Walz are already locked into 'defend at all costs', then skip this post of mine because no one cares about your source-free defense of Kamala's VP.
This is also likely the last post I'll make on the topic. My views on stolen valor are firm. The evidence presented here has me convinced Walz engaged in stolen valor.

I guess you wonât be voting for Walz.
To inform the debate:
Public Law No: 113-12 (06/03/2013)
Stolen Valor Act of 2013 - Amends the federal criminal code to rewrite provisions relating to fraudulent claims about military service to subject to a fine, imprisonment for not more than one year, or both an individual who, with intent to obtain money, property, or other tangible benefit, fraudulently holds himself or herself out to be a recipient of:
a Congressional Medal of Honor,
a distinguished-service cross,
a Navy cross,
an Air Force cross,
a silver star,
a Purple Heart,
a Combat Infantryman's Badge,
a Combat Action Badge,
a Combat Medical Badge,
a Combat Action Ribbon,
a Combat Action Medal, or
any replacement or duplicate medal for such medal as authorized by law.
Moved to a new relevant thread from the J D Vance thread. Now all 4 have their own threads.

Yeah, you wish he said wartime, but he didn't. You're putting words in his mouth that are not there.
My bad, I miss paraphrased the statement. The actual statement is :
"We can make sure those weapons of war, that I carried in war, are only carried in war,â Walz, 60, can be heard saying.
That pretty much speaks for itself.
Walz was never in a war zone, let alone in combat as far as I can find out, yet he clearly states he was. As I interpret that statement.
Obviously everyone else's mileage on this one varies from mine.
