Yeah = dress up in leather, don a helmet, put some art between your legs, giggle with glee while doing incredibly dangerous things. Sound more like weekend activities.

If it weren't parked  it might have photographed poorly due to red shift, but it's already pretty red.

Interesting, that's a different exhaust setup and a different paint scheme.

The one I posted does have a lower on it though, here'a different view:

The whole gallery over at BAT has many wallpaper worthy shots: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2017-ducati-ducati-1299-anniversario/

This one didn't sell at 24K$, which sort of surprises me. I've seen the non-anniversario Panigale 1299s in the low/mid teens. It's not a Desmosedici after all...

Missing the fairing lower. Probably made out of carbon fiber hand-spun by little old ladies in Bologna, weighs less than a silk hanky, and costs as much as every motorcycle I own, plus the garage.

I watched a summer-replacement tv show (remember them?) a long time ago where the plot centred on three guys rescuing a Ducati from a rich dude who bought it as a piece of art to display in his living room.

Suicide machine.

I paid for a couple years of school by picking them up from the insurance company with plastic damage, fixing/painting them, riding for a bit then selling.  even 30 years ago it was amazing how much better the machines were than the average rider (me). I stopped when too many people started being on cell phones.   Still, they are a lot of fun, as most dangerous toys are.  This one is especially pretty too. I'd still smash bugs on the front of it.

I really like Mazda's new-ish design language. I would like to see a Mazda 3-sized Sport Coupe: two doors, four seats (barely), fastback. Like a larger version of a Miata. For that matter, a non-convertible, fastback Miata would sell like crazy.
