Two good movies on tonight at the same time.
We can only watch one, DVR isn't an option. Both are excellent but we can't decide which to watch..

To Kill A Mockingbird
The Night of the Hunter

So is it Righteous Gregory Peck or Evil Robert Mitchum?

I'd go with the Evil Robert Mitchum, because the Righteous Lillian Gish kicks his ass.

No, but it's been on my list to watch forever (I love Mitchum!), but I sort of don't want to watch it alone ... ya know?? I love scary movies, but sometimes they're difficult to watch by yourself. Like The Haunting http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0057129/, the original with Julie Harris. Damn near the scariest movie I've ever seen!

I don't know if I linked it right ... I still haven't gotten the hang of the new editor.

Gotta run, guys. The rain has slacked off a bit and I need to get Middy out for some exercise!

So, I vote for Night of the Hunter ... since I've never seen it, and have seen To Kill a Mockingbird innumerable times. Is NOTH on one of the national cable channels? Maybe I should watch it tonight too!

For me it's The Philadelphia Story ... if I stumble onto it, at any point in its running, I'm sucked in. Can't escape from it.
