It';s the pic du midi d'ossau but I'd like a shot of the range of mountains but when I try on auto it focuses on lower down stuff and on manual it's too dark. What I could do with having brought with us is the manual for this damn camera. /mrshj what's the camera?

I have an older camera I carry to work in the work van that gets more use so in just under a year the new camera body has only taken 3500 shots. It started acting up lately and it took me a while to figure it out. I wasn't excited about sending back the camera (in warranty for another month) or the lens (out of warranty for several years) for repair. Anyway, I finally concluded that it was the camera body not the lens. After cleaning the mount all is well. Whew! That's there is your boring paragraph for the day. Back to your regular program of dance music. wow, what a story. I laughed, I cried, it became a part of me.
