I think I'm losing my mind
Fear became the fentanyl
Hungry like the animal
I've been sleeping in
I see you're losing your light
Cut you into decimals
Drowning out the decibels
Screaming in your head

Do you wanna find the antidote?
Driving with the Holy Ghost
Holy death, the holy smoke
And does it start again?
I've been drinking from a periscope
Trying to watch my obstacles
See how fully I've been broke

And let me start again
Ooh
Ooh
Let me start again
Ooh
Ooh

I think I'm losing the line
The altar is inaudible
Dense and pathological
Capillary thread
When you run out of time
The soul becomes synodical
The weight is now phenomenal
And deafening again

Are you feeling like an anecdote?
Hovering to the hospital
Huffing fire and holy smoke
Does it start again?
I've been lost beyond the telescope
Goddamn diabolical
God forgive the prodigal

And let me start again
Ooh
Ooh
Let me start again
Ooh
Ooh

Now I
Have lost
My way
My way
Now I
Have lost
My way
The way

(Now I)
I think I finally found the antidote
(Have lost)
I've been lying to Holy Ghost
(My way)
Holy beds that fully broke
(The way)
Now let me start again
(Now I)
I've been sinking in the horoscope
(Have lost)
Love is never optional
(My way)
Holy death and holy smoke
(The way)
Let me start again
Ooh

i love this song.   its beautiful for a man that sunk to the verge of wanting to end his life after my wife fell in love with someone new qll of a sudden.  I lost everything i had - now i am starting over from scratch…

And don’t you forget: the best is yet to come!!

8->9 having read the lyrics. Good stuff!
Currently grieving the sudden and unexpected death of the Love of my Life! 🥺 This song just got upgraded to a 10! The poignancy of these eloquent lyrics penetrate my broken heart 💔 like a tsunami 🌊 of pain & grief…?!

Upgraded to 9. Transcendent, lyrically and sonorously. Exquisite 😌
This grows on me 🎧
As a philologist, its the poetry of this song. So great as a poem but coupled with the rhythm makes the words come to life.
Georgia is a schizophrenic state; so full of horrible "stuff" but gives us this amazing group as well The Almond Bros, The B-52s.  It kinda reminds me of uh, Texas where I have lived for 50 years.

That's the magic of music, isn't it?!

Are you not aware that dissent is not to be tolerated on RP?  ANY negative comment is relegated to receiving all of the down thumbs available, whilst the most banal of accolades are gifted all of the praise.  Debate will not be indulged.
I think I would like it, but I find the album cover flesh crawling, so I've never managed to listen. (Trypophobia, or a variation of)
I thought this was Sylmar at first. Nice but the album cover is disturbing. (to me)

I love seeing Manchester Orchestra finally getting some play on Radio Paradise. Their songs are so beautifully constructed. The lyrics and vocals often move me to tears.

They are amazing live.....
huh, checked in to see more about a new song on the RP playlist.. 1st time I've heard it, and I listen a lot.. that's why there's a skip button, folks. I use it, but not often.. carry on Bill..

been hearing there new stuff here a lot. Would love to hear "The Alien" "The Silence" and a lot of there other older stuff that is just as good. I love radio paradise!

THE ALIEN... the first song from Manchester that really sucked me in. I don't pay attention to lyrics much, but the tale told in THIS one really fascinated me. Along with the haunting production, a big favorite in my book.

and, played 3 days in a row now...this is how we get burnt out on stuff.

**edit - played yet again today 8/11/23. we already heard another track by these guys earlier today, too. this heavy rotation is nuts.

Gee, I hope it's played a 4th and 5th day as well. Thanks Bill!
