Maybe if they had a techno channel but definitely not here on the Global Mix !
Global - Per Oxford Languages definition:
relating to or embracing the whole of something, or of a group of things.
just turned off Radio Paradise because of the music for the very first time.
Technically, it is impossible for you to write your comment if you had turned RP off. No one listening to RP likes every song played, that is why there is a button to skip to the next one. Sometimes I have to use this PSD more than three times in a row. I don't write telling everyone because, well, no one cares.
.. then discovered that all the music had stopped

Just PSD, like I did.
I've seen Deadmau5 with my teenage son a few times. Pretty sure I was one of the oldest folks in attendance:)
Not my first choice in music. But when you gaze across a sea of people, and they are all throbbing to the beat, I totally get it. I don't think you get that same level of audience cohesion at a typical rock show.
Crank it up and enjoy the drop!
I'd love to see the dead maus live and zone out even at my ripe age :o)

It's a shame you did, it's not my thing either but I gave it a solid 6 in the spirit of eclecticism, the guy is a great DJ!
I don't think you understand what Radio Paradise is.
What a reply man, awesome xD
please mail me this great video :-))
Thank you Jayesea!!
Come again? Did your computer just have the fuck of its life? Because that's honestly the best description of electronic music I've ever heard.
Epic comment

Here's an interview of the guy who shot the video and uploaded it to the internet and he says it was a Hardwell show.

does anyone know what song they are actually dancing to?

We sent every American adult a copy of this album along with a 2-week supply of MDMA.
The throbbing of a crowd to a techno beat is similar to the bobbing and swirling of the crowds at a Dead Show. It's indicative of communing with a force outside of yourself. Music is math; math is the language of the cosmos; therefore, grooving to a beat is jamming with the stars.
Point taken, but music for dance clubs is best left to dance clubs and raves. Bill clearly enjoys a "techno lane" that doesn't always resonate with me and this tune definitely falls into that category.
Thanks for your mindful dissent...
Aweful racket!
'Aweful' isn't a word. Unless you were kind of trying to imply that your racket is full of awe...which hunh?
FUCK OF MY COMPUTER!!!
Errr...an excellent example of the dumbest sort of comment on RP.
Firstly, profanity...we all need more of that, for sure; and it makes everyone sound super gritty. Secondly, makes zero sense. Even if one were to change the OF to an OFF, it doesn't fix the lack of a logical argument. What is supposed to off your computer? Your cat? This song? Try creating an actual sentence. Thirdly, all caps...cause yelling is cool. Or did you just never learn how capitalization is supposed to work?
Maybe you don't like edm...sure. It's a personal choice. But merit is subjective...in the meantime let me suggest an edit.
"This track isn't my thing. I find it jarring and out of place. I'd prefer it not to be playing on my computer right now as it's making me very angry."

"Audience cohesion". The reason is chemical: it's called MDMA.

MDMA ... The "glue" that gives this audience it's cohesion

if you gave everyone a dose of the same drug you would get this kind of cohesion at any concert
In germany we say 'Nausi Alte'
While I cannot do it, I suggest making this type of music is easier that learning to actually play an instrument.
I've done both, and I'd have to disagree.
this is proof that any hack can make "music"
Well, feel free to try it then...
I love how eclectic RP is. I'm loving this! Whenever my gf asks me "What's this, I like this track?" the answer is "Radio Paradise!"
what music are they actually hearing?
I believe this is a clip from the movie Vice. Regardless, the clip and music can be heard in this YouTube video.

I’m grateful that you use PSD too! Lots of folks seem to groove to this track so I’m glad we’re all here!
haters gonna hate, but real RP lovers PSD and move on.

Funny you should say that. I live in a flat and I tried using JMJ's music with a very beefy subwoofer (acquired just for this purpose, I otherwise don't like base) when the lockdown started to "annoy back" my lousy piano-wannabe-player neighbour and the crazy family upstairs (I am otherwise very quiet myself, so lockdown with annoyingly noisy neighbours was definitely no fun). I like JMJ but it just wasn't enough for this job. One day I heard this song on RP and I said to myself "this is it"! Used it and a few other deadmau5 "songs" ever since, whenever I get woken up waaaay too early in the morning by the commotion upstairs. It doesn't stop it but at least I can't hear it anymore and I don't start the day already mad, I start it "even" 😈
I love Knocked Up. Childish, moving, poignant and hilarious.

Well it is 3 PM here somebody needs to switch to the Mellow mix and surely that's not me !
But after the soothing Nick Drake & Coldplay we need a little blood rush ( but I was thinking along the same lines)
I don't think you understand what Radio Paradise is.
RP has several channels, this might be a better fit to the "World Music"
