Lost myself in you today
Lost myself in every way

I see your love in all you do
I see myself in you
the story goes on and on

Here in the woods, now my friends
See you there hang a ribbon on a branch
Feel my feet on the soil
Free of trouble free from it all

Feel the air under your feet
(?)...all of me
First steps you take, best thing you make
never alone always awake
key to a bridge, open the door
so many more before

Here in the woods, now my friends
See you there hang a ribbon on a branch
feel my feet on the soil
free of trouble free from it all

Give in Genesis, starring this b-singer. I'm forgetting names of uninteresting people, always. Ashes on my head-

I hear Floyd, Porcupine Tree, Depeche to name a few, but that's all good. I love this style of lengthy spacey jams.  If I don't care for a tune I hit next. I support them monthly, as you should as well,  but it is not my play setlist, but I will listen to 98% of everything I hear. I have it set on all TV's at the house and listen religiously at work.
Will be turning 70 way to soon, radio paradise has kept my mind  so young!

ONE OF THE FINEST SONGS to elevate and bliss right out to... Purple stems, orange caps, green buds are cool but RP RULES!
First time for me.  1 minute in this was a 8.. 3 minutes in had to change to 9.  So cool thanks RP

Humans are basically pattern recognition machines. It's built in to us. I find it fascinating to see how our disparate brains try to fit new information into our known consciousness, including, especially, Popeye.
Must. Buy. Popeyes. Greatest. Hits…
Great cover (image).
Sometimes wish we could offer fractional ratings. I just cleared out my earlier "7" as the current average of "7.5" aligns nicely w/ my assessment.

Funny about that, I'm actually hearing a bit of the Ukrainian song "Monakh" by DakhaBrakha coming through in the falsetto singing at the end.

RP has introduced me to many artistes who I may never have discovered myself.  Younger Brother might just be the best on that list.
This ditty is giving me a chubby.

I'd be happy to be trapped in an elevator if it was playing Younger Brother! I'm picturing an elevator that plays Younger Brother while taking me to a rave or some kind of really cool party . Yep, I'd hang out in that elevator. Hey, the elevator might be where the "recreational activities" are happening. I guess you can take that a couple of different ways.. OK, that was a great daydream, back to work now...

Check your ears....one has crunchy guitars & the other is synth driven. You are confused with production techniques.

Looking at this cover, I thought "this has to be a Storm Thorgerson picture if I have ever seen one!"  Just checked Wikipedia, and yep, that is Storm.   Love Storm's work.
There isn't a bad song on this whole album. Hit play and let it take you away...
well I do declare  love that cover art...song fine too
so hypnotic and psychedelic - love the floaty

Great song, amazing artist!

I don't see the "vs" here. I see PT and Younger Brother floating down this beautiful sonic river, briefly drawing closer together, nodding knowingly at each other, then floating their separate ways.

Since this comment, I have heard Popeye every single time, and it somehow makes the song MORE powerful and moving.  I picture a music video with Popeye just... free from it all.
What , WHAT ..is R.P going to continue to Grace my palate and turn me on to even more great music and artists!
8+ here !

Thank you Radio Paradise
ah, all the pixies down my back garden are bopping about to this one.

It's not a melody; it's a Dm9 chord played with an arpeggio.  Both songs' chord progressions vary dramatically after that first chord.  If anything, it's more of a "nod" than an act of "stealing".

Arpeggio:

A broken chord is a chord broken into a sequence of notes. A broken chord may repeat some of the notes from the chord and span one or more octaves.

An arpeggio (Italian: ) is a type of broken chord, in which the notes that compose a chord are played or sung in a rising or descending order. An arpeggio may also span more than one octave.

Why do I ever read lyrics? It's such a self-defeating endeavor. When just listening to this song, I always thought it was so deep and heavy and moody and great and all. Come to find out it's about hair bows.

Never read the lyrics!

True, they fall to the left, not the right.  You'll have to bring it up with Storm Thorgerson; oh, wait, he died.

Great music BTW.  Would sound terrific in just about any corner of Kenya (that is not too close to Somalia).

Are you a little bit idiot or are you trying to be ironic? What's the problem with Kenya or with Trulykenyan's comment?
