That you sit in now and yearn
I will never leave it, dear
I could not bear to return
And find it all untended
With the trees all bended low
This garden is our home, dear
And I got nowhere else to go
So bring it on
Bring it on
Every little tear
Bring it on
Every useless fear
Bring it on
All your shattered dreams
And I'll scatter them into the sea
Into the sea
The geraniums on your window sill
The carnations, dear, and the daffodil
Well, they're ordinary flowers
But they long for the light of your touch
And of your trembling will
Ah, you're trembling still
And I am trembling too
To be perfectly honest I don't know
Quite what else to do
So bring it on
Bring it on
Every neglected dream
Bring it on
Every little scheme
Bring it on
Every little fear
And I'll make them disappear
So bring it on, bring it on
Bring it on
Every little thing
Bring it on
Every tiny fear
Bring it on
Every shattered dream
And I'll scatter them into the sea
I went to a festival for my 30'est birthday because The bad seeds were the main band.
There was a few true fans and Nick could see that.
I guess he looked at each of one of us in the eyes once...
Man this show felt so good.
Ha! He did that at Lollapalooza 1994 too, though they played a daylight time slot and weren't the main act. There were a few of us fans there though.

The last was when he was in a supermarket and it was all I could do not to follow him around to see what he bought!
If you have not already done so… look up his ‘red hand files’ where he has a regular dialog with his fans and gives you are real glimpse into the man and his work. Marvellous stuff. 😎
What an amazing show they put on!
More, please.

I'm with you, for sure! I love his work, love his half-Bowie, half-Edgar Winter "Freak Storm" character in the movie Johnny Suede (and love that he almost kills Brad Pitt's hilariously earnest (title) character by getting him to eat some dumpster-dive chicken!), and I have been truly blessed to have seen most of my musician-heroes, in places all over the whole freakin' world, even enjoyed spectacular times in Nick's heavenly hometown, but I've YET TO SEE NICK LIVE!

You may be in luck if you are in North America. On tour in 2025. https://www.nickcave.com/tour-...
I'm lucky enough to have seen most of my favourite artists live, except for ones that are impossible (I'm 24 and a fan of classic rock, so a lot of bands I would have to time travel to see), but Nick Cave is one of the last on my bucket list. He's such an incredible artist, and I hope to see him in concert some time.

MORE Nick & his seeds, RP.

LLRP
Definitely my favorite of the day.
so far, mine too!
Best concert I have ever seen in my life. And I have been to many. Nothing beats Nick Cave live. Mesmerising.
The great thing about living where I do is I get an opportunity to see everybody.
had a friend who went to a Nick Cave concert and said that she was so overwhelmed by his voice that she fainted. She may have been a little high at the time but still, that's a pretty good complement to the power of Nick Cave's vocals.

Yes bring it on Bill!!! And some Gun club while we are at it!
Not just a voice, Nick is full package (performance, energy, everything is on high level).

Just don't understand why there's not a single song from "Henry's Dream" on RP.
SAME. It's easily my favorite of his albums. And he's still playing them live in concert as well. "Papa Won't Leave You Henry" and "I Had a Dream Joe" especially are both stellar tracks.
And I second the listener here who posted about his Red Hand files emails. Subscribe if you can. It's fantastic content.
I also really enjoyed his 2024 interview with Stephen Colbert. Mesmerizing interview.
