Sleep, sleep tonight
And may your dreams be realized
If the thunder cloud passes rain
So let it rain, rain down on he
So let it be
So let it be
Sleep, sleep tonight
And may your dreams be realized
If the thunder cloud passes rain
So let it rain, let it rain
Rain on he
And may your dreams be realized
If the thunder cloud passes rain
So let it rain, rain down on he
So let it be
So let it be
Sleep, sleep tonight
And may your dreams be realized
If the thunder cloud passes rain
So let it rain, let it rain
Rain on he

A beautiful track from one of my favorite albums by anyone.

What exactly is "sanctimonious sprituality"? (ignoring that you misspelled 'spirituality'... ; not judging). And what will you do now, that you've "had it"?
Just curious. Let us know.
I'm sorry. I've had it with Bono's sanctimonious sprituality.

I sang this to my son when he was a infant as I rocked him sleep. He's now a 35yr old musician.

I saw them on the same tour and yes, the earnest attitudes were real.
Saw them in '83, before they were really famous in the US; I can say that I knew, by demonstration, that their earnest attitudes were real.

loved Eno's production on this album - the sound isn't pure, it is magical
Played today perhaps because of the verdict in the Derek Chauvin trial?
RIP George Floyd.
RIP George Floyd.
Wow, the only two comments on this track are 11 and 15 years old. It's so great to see evidence of how long Bill and Rebecca have been going! And that a song like this that gets barely any airplay suddenly gets played after who knows how much time... just awesome stuff. I love this channel.
Thanks for all the years of listening-pleasure B&R!

I used to sing this to my daughter as a lullaby when she was a baby.
Come on Bill... PLAY THIS ONE
Soothing and graceful
I'm sorry. I've had it with Bono's sanctimonious sprituality.
I’m unapologetic. I’m ok with commenter’s pretentious secularism.
