I thought they had canceled the show but due to baseball and X Factor, it's on hiatus until November. I'm really surprised this show got such high ratings; just didn't really do it for me.

Fall TV Progress Report

Hit: "New Girl" (FOX)

Not only did she score FOX's biggest ratings for a scripted premiere in a decade, Zooey Deschanel brought the portmanteau "adorkable" into the mainstream vernacular (and who better to do it?). The show scored big ratings in its premiere, eclipsing its lead-in from "Glee," which nobody expected, making it the first show of the season to earn a full season pickup, though thanks to baseball and extended episodes of "The X Factor," you won't see it again until November.

I'm hopeful they'll dial down the quirk and dial up the character development in coming eps. If not, even the endlessly adorable Zooey Descanel might not save it.

Anyone catch Terra Nova.

A bad combination of Lost and Avatar.  Even has the same macho military guy as Avatar.

That apartment supposed was rent controlled, I can't remember why.

ER showed the most realistic pics of Chicago. Mike & Molly does not. The Good Wife sometimes does, but not usually.

I love shows filmed in Chicago. The characters always live in apartments that would cost $3,000/month

i agree. it reminds me a lot of that other show (don't know if it's still on and can't remember the network) called My Boys.
i was disappointed by the first episode, haven't watched the 2nd. but i liked the one guy, one of her roomies a lot, too. i think he's the bartender. the other two, meh. too stereotypical.
